The best Mexican food on planet earth, We have been coming as long as I can remember, I had and love the Monico special but sometimes we just get the nacho's. I could right a review about the nachos but this picture is worth all anyone could say. Dammm that sh is great.
We have been going to Monicos for a lot of years, I remember when they were in kinipopo shopping center. we live in Los Angeles and travel the world, we love Mexico and the foods they make and I love carnitas. When we went to Monico's everything changed, they have the best carnitas in the world and not to say all the other food is great ( we've tried just about all of it.) I love the Bar, Dammm this place is great and we can't wait to get there ( Oct )
This is the best authentic Mexican restaurant and food around. Kauai is very lucky to have such a great place for all to come to. Genevieve and the rest of the crew are great. By far my family’s favorite!!!

Monico's Taqueria is a friendly restaurant with easy parking. They offer a seafood buffet, chicken enchiladas, veggie burrito, and carnitas burrito. The Diablo and habanero salsa are recommended. The food is tasty, especially the fish tacos, carne asada tacos, and the famous Monico special. The nachos and chicken nachos are generous and delicious, while the beef taquitos are the best around. The fajitas come in big portions but may need extra tortillas. The service is fast and the atmosphere is clean, with friendly and professional staff. They only serve bottled and canned drinks. Overall, a great local spot for a delicious meal with incredible service.
