Had lasagna. She had chicken piccata. Both were great!
Assaggio in Kapolei always has delicious and visually appealing food. The service is courteous, and they strive to provide a friendly atmosphere. The Bread is unbelievable I have to stop after the second basket due to the food I ordered. I tried the New York steak medium rare and the Shrimp Scampi. Everything was great and I definitely recommend them for your dining options.
Bottom Line: Ordered steak and shrimp scampi, carbonara, steak salad, and hot steak carppacio. Overall food grade: zero star for the price ($208 with 18% tips included).
Service: 4 stars - constant check-ins, but we did wait 5 minutes before getting someone to ring the check
Atmosphere - 3 stars due to the price mismatch. For $200 dinner (2 adults), I expect more high-end ambiance than what we actually experienced.
Steak salad: cheap rough steak, sub-USDA choice quality. Extra salty and overcooked (asked for medium rare)
Steak Carppacio: filet mgnon was also sub-USDA Choice grade
steak and shrimp scampi: too salty and both shrimp and steak were overcooked
carbonara: did not use enough egg yolk (probably because of egg prices) and the pasta was rather watery, instead of creamy.
Food is fantastic and service worth every penny of the tip and that service is very important to me.
Went with my spiritual sisters from church after serving God's work at Ka Punawai Ola. Got seated quickly, waiter was pleasant & friendly. Atmosphere was comfortable able to talk while eating. My Lemonade wasn't as good as I remember it from days gone pass, I kind of knew it by the color of it. Too hungry to take pictures but they were eye appealing and delicious.
Ordered take out for the first time. Food was barely edible. Pasta looked like plain boiled noodles thrown together with canned veggies and a half stick of butter. Shocked their overall rating is a 4.2. Would not go back here
I went here with my husband. The food was delicious and rather large portions for the small option. Can imagine the large option is good for family style sharing. The cocktails were very good. Very friendly and attentive staff. Very clean inside. I will be coming here again.

Took the whole family of 6 out for my birthday dinner. We used to love Assaggio Mililani but thought we would stay closer to home. Wish we didn’t. The atmosphere is fine, the place is nice and clean and the staff were all professional and nice and friendly. The food was all very bland and my chicken parm had to of come straight out of the Sysco box. It was very weirdly textured chicken, almost like it was microwaved or something. Whatever it was it was obvious it was not prepared fresh. There was a weird chunk of something burnt beyond recognition mixed in and it was not pleasant when I bit into it. I told the waitress it soured me on the rest of the meal after biting into it. A very large gentleman then came to our table and asked whose meal it was from. He then demonstrated how it crumbled in his fingers. He said it was a piece of bacon? The waitress said it was burnt cheese. I don’t even know who the large guy was since he didn’t introduce himself.
They did take it off of the bill though.
I don’t think we will be back…ever.

Fun place that offers small and large plates which is great for small eaters like me! The small plates seemed kinda huge though! Nice seafood combo plates and a large vegetarian selection with it's own section on the menu.
Vegetarian options: Had it's own section on the menu!

I really wanted to like this place. But the food is terrible. We had chicken Marsala and it was so bland…the Marsala sauce barely had any flavor and was very runny. Also, they use way too much oil…I felt like my chicken was swimming in oil. This is probably one of the worst Italian places I’ve been to in a while. But the service is great…I don’t fault the waiters at all…but the food sucks.

Let me start off by saying that service was outstanding. Our server, Aloha, was very tentative and friendly. The food was so bland it was unbelievable. I had the veal Parmesan and my wife had chicken piccata and both were in dire need of some sort of flavouring. The Parmesan cheese was of no help at all. Even the bread was very very bland. If you are on a low sodium diet or just like bland food, then this place is for you. Otherwise stay away

Went to Assagio's Kapolei for Father's Day. Have gone to Assagio's in Mililani, Ala Moana, and Kapolei in the past. But stopped going to any Assagio's for many years. Don't know why. Maybe because there are many other choices for Italian restaurants. Or maybe because we would consider this restaurant pricey and reserved it for special occasions. But now with the higher cost of dining out, why wouldn't we consider coming here more often. I was very pleased with my meal. I had the special with a combination of Fish and Shrimp Piccata. Just wished i had more sauce. My daughter's filet mignon was unbelievable. Perfectly cooked. Tiramisu was as good as I remembered. Will definitely come back again. This is a much better option that Olive Garden in my opinion.
