Best burgers on the Westside! Great menu to make everyone happy! Ask about their ice cream for after your meal...could feed the entire table.

Food was great! Ordered the short ribs and of course, the signature furikake chicken. Service was quick, clerks were friendly, and the owner (I assume) was very nice. But, why did I have to speak with the owner? Well, here is the story which explains why only 3 stars. I went to search the restaurant on Yelp and specifically selected KAPOLEI. I looked for online ordering but could not find it, however, their website was listed (brokedamouthgrindz.com). When I went to the website, it lists both the Kona and Kapolei locations and right below the Kapolei address, there is a "Order Now" button to order online. So, I place my order, assuming it's for Kapolei. When I get there, no one can find my order, so I show them my phone that has the order showing PAID. The cashier tried to look for it. Finally, the person who I believed was the owner (or at least manager) looked at it and said it was ordered at the Kona branch. Obviously, I cannot fly to Kona to pick it up. So, she says not to worry, they will fulfill the order now, and called the Kona location to cancel the order and, I assumed, credit my account. Well, it's been almost 2 weeks now, and no credit. I basically paid $91.44 ($45.72 x 2) for two plates! I went to the Kona website specifically and saw the BIG BLACK letters stating online ordering is only at Kona! Why is this not clear on the Yelp website? That website clearly shows BOTH locations, and the order button right below the Kapolei address! It's misleading! To me, the button should say: "Order Now (Kona Only)" or have both locations either allow online ordering or NOT allow it. Be consistent! So would I go back? Well, the people at Kapolei were very nice, but I feel cheated. The food was good, but not $91.44 good. Maybe at some point, but not right now. Sorry!

Yooo! The 3 combo plate and the kalua pig plate w/ adobo fried rice ? amazing. My husband got fried chicken, lechon and kalua pig. All amazing and huge portions so we shared the entire meal and ordered the dessert, which they were kind enough to keep until we finished our meal. The ube ice cream was delicious and the glaze and crumbles were perfect fit. Big enough for 4 ppl but we finished on our own (mostly me). We didn't try the lemonades but i definitely thought about it.

4.5/5 because its a bit on the pricier size?! But worth it in my opinion:) the portions are so big we couldn't finished our foods in one sitting. The purple yam is a must and the garlic chickens were to die for. The kim chi fried rice was nice and super flavorful! We probably will not get the ice cream again but yes to everything else

All of their menu items are definitely up to a Broke da mouth rating! I first tried this place when I was on the big island visiting Kona and was really happy when they finally opened this place in Kapolei.

The peppah water was so could, I literally had some by itself, I would add it to everything. The food really did broke da mouth. It's delicious We ordered the short rib fries, a lemonade, and the spicy garlic furikake chicken. Short rib was to melt in your mouth tender with the perfect taste of shoyu and sugar. The peppah I loved the short rib fries 10/10. The peppah water was the perfect vinegary spicy flavor to cut through the heartiness of the short rib on the fries. The fries are crunchy and well seasoned. The spicy garlic furikake plate was a 7/10 for me, it was very flavorful but I wish I ordered the OG garlic furikake chicken plate. Portions are large and we took leftovers. The service was great,

WOW! The portions are huge and the flavors didn't disappoint at all. This place has been on my list of places to try for quite some time and I'm so happy we finally got a chance to order. -Crab Stuffed Salmon: topped with bacon, pairing of crab mixture and salmon was perfectly crafted with furikake sprinkled all throughout dish -Braised Beef Short Ribs: saucy, tender, cooked to perfection -Garlic Furikake Chicken: juicy, crispy and flavorful batter -Garlic Butter Shrimp: shrimp was a good size, savory flavoring Each plate came with the side options of Kimchee Cucumbers, Tuna Mac Salad, Purple Sweet Potato Salad w/ Bacon, Tossed Green Salad (we had a mixture of everything to try) in addition to 2 scoops of rice -Ube Ice Cream Pie (unfortunately not pictured because we demolished it!) The order came out fairly quick, about 15 minutes. I waited outside since the tables were full and there was a line forming (as expected since it was lunch time). Since our order was pretty big for me to carry, the cashier kindly packed it in a box for me and walked it over to my car. True gentleman, thank you! We will be back again to try the other things and most importantly try another dessert flavor.

Food was too ono I forgot to take a proper photo. Everything was great from their service to the restaurant's ambiance. We went as soon as they opened up for dinner. I must emphasize the tasty, tender adobo oxtail as well as the crispyness of the lechon kawali. Lastly, to sum up the good heavy food; the UBE dessert is a must. You gotta try it for yourself. They have other options for dessert but I think it's gonna take a while to convince me to try the other desserts. Overall, it satisfied my taste buds.

Bomb food and great workers. Simple spot to eat at. Really good lechon kawali. Their ice cream cake is gigantic, this would feed a whole family

You need to come here and try the food. I tried the gorilla moco with Kim chee fried rice. As weird as it sounds the combination works well and their plats have allot of food. Maybe when I was younger I could finish but, I would no be able to work after. The service is always friendly and you can eat inside or outside. Great place to eat.

Ordered a two choice with braised short ribs beef, and Lechon Kawali with brown rice. Side order, purple sweet potato salad with bacon and eggs. Food was really good. Lechon Kawali wasn't too greasy, it was very cripsy and wasn't tough to chew. The tomatoes was fresh and made the combo excellent. The short ribs was amazing, super soft. It wasn't too sweet. It was just perfect. Brown rice was cooked good, sometimes mushy rice is what makes the plate lunch a turn off but Rice was well cooked. The amount of food portions was enormous, definitely worth the price of $20 dollars plus tax. The purple, sweet potato salad with bacon and eggs also complemented the plate lunch as a side. Definitely gonna have to tackle this plate twice because I m already full & still got half the plate left. I did a phone order and the line was a little long when I got in because it was lunchtime, but still got it pretty fast. They also took my order really fast when I called. They answered the phone right away, even though it seemed like they were really busy. Customer service was efficient, seems like they had a good crew in the back cooking and bringing out food really quickly for all the other orders. Restaurant was very clean. Had tables inside and outside. They also offered lemonades in the Jars (Lychee,Strawberry,Lilikoi, ect, assuming it's homemade) in their refrigerator with Green Tea Arizona, water & other drinks. Didn't get dessert this time, but planning to go visit the restaurant again and definitely trying the dessert.

The food was delicious and the portions were huge. We ordered the fried chicken and short rib combo, adobo pork, and the crab stuffed salmon. My favorite was the fried chicken. We also ordered a ginormous slice of ube ice cream with sweetened condensed milk and graham cracker crumbs. That was a highlight. We'd order it all again next time.

We ordered the Gorilla Moco, Spicy Fried Garlic Furikake Chicken, and the Kulolo Moco. It did not disappoint. It's so good and the portions were huge!! The service was good and fast. They even kept our Kulolo Ice Cream Pie frozen until we were ready to tackle our dessert. The atmosphere was casual and friendly. However, if it is busy, you may not get a table to eat there. Definitely recommend eating here with at least one other person!!
