Amazing show, and the Chief is a show all by himself!
This was my first Luau. It was a lot of fun. They had a nice buffet and 1 alcoholic drink or soda included. The dancing was amazing. The Chief was funny and engaging. I would recommend this Luau for the experience.
Held at the wet and wild park which is fun! Food was excellent and the performers did a nice job with the dances but there is a lot of talking and it seems to drag at times - chief encouraged audience participation which the crowd seemed to enjoy! I would recommend the food ( chicken, fish, fried noodles, fresh pineapple) but expect the show to be a bit slow
Awesome experience and DELICIOUS FOOD!!
An awesome experience. I have been to several luau’s and this one is absolutely the best. Good food and an informative and funny show.
Great food & great atmosphere!
Over the years, I have taken guests from the mainland to several Luaus on Oahu, and this is my new favorite! Paradise Cove had the best location on the Island, but they closed down last month. The MC (the Chief) is a wonderful performer and a very spiritual leader of the group. We truly felt like part of the family the way he walked us thru the customs of the village. My wife had tears when he talked about the importance of family. They made things on stage, and described the ways of old Hawaii and Samoa. The fire dance was Seriously the best. I have been to Paradise Cove, Germaines, Hale Koa, and Mauka. I was worried about the location being at the water park, but they do this in front of a huge waterfall, and the seating area is sloped from up high so there is not bad seat. All the others are on level ground, so if a tall person is in front of you, you are blocked. The food is great, but they all have great food. They probably use the same catering company. Many of the performers likely move around, but this is the Chief's show.
Nice presentation, friendly staff - was my first Luau so I don't have any others to compare it to. The pulled pork was delicious! $5 for a can of soda felt exorbitant. The seating grew uncomfortable after the first hour. Did the chief really grow up in the jungle with 7 siblings? IDK but it was a fun and entertaining storyline
A fantastic show and great food. Despite being in the middle of a water park, Chief and his crew bring authenticity to the experience. Loved it
The best luau experience! Obviously you can't get away from the tourism aspect of a luau catered to tourists, but this felt like part comedy show part cultural education. Guests are called on to participate and the interactivity made it really fun.
Restaurantji Recommends
Wonderful experience. This group knows what customer service is about. Very large group of people at luau; however exceptionally well organized from receiving your lei to photo op to buffet line. Activities provided at beginning of dinner. Engaging pace. The show is phenomenal. It did rain on us, but that didnt stop a thing-- they quickly passed out ponchos. After the short shower, the crew began drying each seat. If traveling from Waikiki, pay the extra for transportation...well worth it.
Highly recommend attending this luau. Great atmosphere and friendly vibes. Very culturally rich and exciting entertainment. The food was good however as it was buffet style it was slightly cold after queuing for the food.
Great time, best of the two I have attended
This show was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it. The activities before the show were great. After the show they took photos with us, the energy was awesome! We will do this again!
Love this place. The Chief is so involved and just a genuine amazing person. You can feel and appreciate the respect.
