Great food large portions

I didn’t have the same experience a lot of the other reviews have mentioned. This was my first time in and once I said that and asked for recommendations the staff was very friendly and super helpful. And the food was really good. This was my first experience with manapua so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was fire. If I were staying on the island longer I would definitely go back.

Cashier was rude. Left me standing there for a min and walked away after checking out 2 people standing on the side. Didn’t acknowledge me or anything. Another employee was nice enough to let me know I was standing in the wrong line but the cashier, with no manners, completely ignored me. No eye contact or anything. Thanks for sharing the “Aloha spirit”. Definitely won’t return tho this location again

IM SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED IN TUGGING ESTABLISHMENT. QUALITY OF FOOD AND FLAVOR HAS GONE OUT THE DOOR... NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN

You can get food just as good or better without dealing with this headache. Replace the entire front of house staff. I regret wasting my time and money here.

4/18/25 The food was alright, workers were rude and inattentive. In the last hour, store had a few customers ordering take out and the mahu cleaning in front was literally yelling to his coworkers who were a few feet away for minutes on end. The store was already too echoey with loud music and bud was yelling and laughing at the top of his lungs. Come here if you want to pay for a migraine

I went to the store earlier this week to place an order for mini manapua for an important event on Saturday. I was told by Dareen that I couldn't place the order in person and instead had to call the morning of the event. I followed that exact instruction and called as soon as the store opened — only to be told the item I needed was already sold out. When I asked how that was possible, Dareen explained that someone else had ordered 400 pieces from another store earlier in the week. That’s incredibly frustrating, especially since I was not given the option to place an advance order myself when I asked in person. This kind of inconsistent and misleading information is unacceptable. I was trying to plan ahead, followed the guidance I was given, and still ended up empty-handed. That’s not just poor customer service — it’s bad business. Because of this experience, I won’t be returning, and I’ll be letting others know to avoid this store as well.😡

I really liked this place and their food but when I called about reserving their location for a party the workers were talking crap about how they had to find the party book. Sorry ah sis. Take my business elsewhere. Crap service.

Awesome customer service

Chun Wah Kam Kapolei has a great team with excellent customer service. Team was so inviting and so helpful in helping me decide what to get for a potluck. I am definitely going to continue going to Chun Wah Kam!!

All the tasty plate lunch favorites, all the time! It would take weeks to try all the different possible combinations of starches and mains because the variety is amazing. If you're flying to the neighbor islands, then the best bet would be to place your dim sum order online ahead of time; that way, it's super easy to pick it up on the way to the airport. Usually, half the dining area is open, and there's enough tables to handle the midday crowd. Staff are friendly, and they go all out to decorate!

Always love the wide variety to choose from to make plate lunches and manapua/dim sum is good too.

Went there Thursday about 1p. Lots of free parking, however a little tight. Left door are for called in/pick up orders. Right door are for walk-ins. The line goes pretty quick. This is done of my go to if I want fast food Chinese.

I ordered two plate lunches. You get a starch ( I got Hong Kong noodles...but you can go half/ half too) & 2 choices (first one was orange chicken & salt&pepper fish... second one was garlic chicken & kau yuk). The food was good and a lot (enough for 2 meals this time).

As for service, the employees are always friendly and efficient when I go there.
