Chun Wah Kam Kapolei has a great team with excellent customer service. Team was so inviting and so helpful in helping me decide what to get for a potluck. I am definitely going to continue going to Chun Wah Kam!!

All the tasty plate lunch favorites, all the time! It would take weeks to try all the different possible combinations of starches and mains because the variety is amazing. If you're flying to the neighbor islands, then the best bet would be to place your dim sum order online ahead of time; that way, it's super easy to pick it up on the way to the airport. Usually, half the dining area is open, and there's enough tables to handle the midday crowd. Staff are friendly, and they go all out to decorate!

Went there Thursday about 1p. Lots of free parking, however a little tight. Left door are for called in/pick up orders. Right door are for walk-ins. The line goes pretty quick. This is done of my go to if I want fast food Chinese.

I ordered two plate lunches. You get a starch ( I got Hong Kong noodles...but you can go half/ half too) & 2 choices (first one was orange chicken & salt&pepper fish... second one was garlic chicken & kau yuk). The food was good and a lot (enough for 2 meals this time).

As for service, the employees are always friendly and efficient when I go there.

Made a phone order to go around 1pm, cause they don’t serve rice cake till after 12pm. Got there and I stood behind someone paying for their meal in the phone-order line. When it was my turn the people behind me cut in front and the front worker continued helping them. Then I had to wait behind them. 5 more workers show up, & 2 more parties from dine-in stand by me. The 3 workers asked the people next to me about their orders. Had to wait again but I was standing right in front of the front counter! After everyone was taken care of, no acknowledgment from the workers so I had to yell at them “I’m here for a phone order !!” Then they were like shocked and was like “oh what’s the name?” Then she gets my order but can’t find it but it was in her face like she couldn’t read. Then when it was my time to pay. The aunty in the front was very rude . Rushed me to pay and sign then she pulls the table up and forgets to even give me my card so she hold the table up and hands me my card like she is passing it behind her. Then she continues to stare at me like why I am still standing there so I tell her “give me my food!” And she was like “oh sorry” while putting the table down. She was like going to walk away without giving me my stuff. Worst service I have ever experienced. I drove there from Kaneohe won’t be going back.

Insane portions with the plate lunch. I'm personally able to get anywhere between 2-4 meals. Foods not bland either most of the options are pretty flavorful. Always appreciate getting the manapua. Will say I was excited to try the pork hash but wasn't a big fan... I wish the meat was as tender as the gau gee. It's just too idk dense? It's just hard to bite through I guess & just wish it was a bit softer. But overall pretty amazing place. In my husband's words "Feels like panda express on steroids but BETTER with BETTER tasting options"

They didn't have the chow fun til later so I had the fried saimin with sweet and sour spareribs, and guava pork. The guava pork and spareribs were really good.

Parking: Plenty of parking because I went early .

Call in your order early...it helps! (Lunchtime the line can get a bit long.) There are times when you do call no one answers the phone due to they are helping a customer.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. Their food is extremely tasty and locals know it. They have great manapua and they give you a good enough portion to have leftovers. I couldn't recommend the more it's very tasty and I'm glad we found it.
