The food is good and good value. I tried the chicken spinach stew with rice. My friend loved the chicken cutlets so much that he wanted it for lunch next day.

Love the West side location. I've eaten at the Ala Moana and University location, and even the original in Japan, and this spot does not disappoint. Food quality is always top notch and both the speed and professionalism of service has remained top tier. Interior is a little on the small side, so keep that in mind if you are coming with a bigger party; but for solo or two -person party, nice and cozy. I'm a fan of takeout, just give a quick call about 10 minutes in advance and the food will be ready by the time you get there.

While in Hawaii for vacation my husband and I realized there was a Coco Ichibanya nearby and HAD to go. We loved dining here in Japan and we can't really get this where we live now.
The smell when you walk in is heavenly. The server was quick to greet us and take our orders - no frills, just good service, clean tables, and great smells. I ordered a chicken cutlet and my husband ordered a pork cutlet. We ordered a spice level 7.
The food came quickly and looked great. It was everything I had been craving. Nicely seasoned, chicken quality and cook was excellent, great portion size. I definitely could have gone with more spice, but zero complaints. We both left super satisfied.

The first Coco Curry Oahu restaurant to reinstate dine in after the Covid era when all the rest were take out only.... And to this day I still support?Eating curry out of a plastic container isnt the same as eating curry freshly poured over a plate of steaming hot rice. IYKYK. The owner/manager is always on property and runs this restaurant better than ive seen the others...
Located in the Village shopping plaza anchored by Foodland in Kapolei, its a busy plaza but always has ample parking available. Easy access to the freeway and off Kapolei Parkway?
This Curry house also has different spice levels, and takes credit cards in addition to cash too.
The go to is the Kalbi/fried chicken mix with cheese and side order gyoza. Mops!
Havent had a bad dish here, although the last visit the portion looked a little smaller but maybe it was just the chef on a bad day... 5 stars??

An excellent experience. Very similar to the ones in Japan and some of the most fair prices on Oahu for food.
Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is kid friendly as they have a decent kids meal for younger children at a reasonable price.

Amazing place staff is very kind and Ethan and Braeden Hashimotos are great servers. Curry is made with care highly recommend to eat here by yourself or with good company.

Quick and friendly service and excellent food. The young lady at the front was extremely polite and helpful and the rest of the staff was super cheerful.I think I’m going to be back many times.

This place is fantastic for a really nice meal, where the portions are large and really tasty for the price. The place is a bit small and the bar seating is not moveable so it can be uncomfortable depending on your size but they do offer table seating. Overall a great experience.

This is the only one on island that does the 10 level spice system!!! Closest thing to the originals in Japan and has the same great flavor.
