Curry House Coco Ichibanya

Long wait for takeout and tables at night. My takeout took 25 minutes. Got curry plate work chicken cutlet, spinach and fried tofu. Fried tofu is different from before. Much heavier with firmer tofu. I liked it better when it used to be medium instead of form tofu and the crust more delicate. Chicken cutlet and spinach were excellent as always.

I got the Chicken Katsu Curry but added Spinach for some veggies. I would recommend keeping the curry on the side so that your Katsu doesn’t become soggy. I am gonna do that next time. Great service! She asked if we needed anything one time during the meal which for me deserves a good tip.

I like this curry house. Food tasted so much better than I remember! Quick service, everyone is so nice! Small place but tables turn quickly.

While it says Cocos and has all the markings of a Cocos, this is not the same as what you would expect from the locations in Japan or mainland (Torrance CA Cocos) US. The pork cutlet was tough and the curry was a bit on the bland side. I ordered spicy, but it was as mild as ever.

Shrimp fry udon (spicy) : really good. Everything is good.
Chicken cutlet curry (mild) : good too. But mild make the taste feel soft. Chicken cutlet its ok.

Awesome curry, great selection, friendly service, laid back atmosphere.

First time going here recently and the curry is amazing one of the best I've had on island, and I love curry, been blessed enough to try curry in many countries and cocos stood out to me, all I gotta say was im really impressed with how good it was, I kinda was hesitant to go when the wife suggested cuz im pretty picky about curry but man glad I was wrong cuz it was super good, got the curry fried chicken with kalbi, and very glad I did. We be back for sure

This place doesn’t miss, never once have I had a bad plate or bad service. You like curry at an affordable price? Say no more! 110% the best place to get it hands down. Try whatever you want, it’s all good.

Did not know this location existed. Noticed it after I got into my car from Foodland. Decided to go in since I haven’t had Curry House for some time.

I ordered Mabo Tofu curry and side order pork cutlet. First time to try the mabo tofu, didn’t care for it but great price! Total was less than $14. Side pork cutlet (same portion) is only $3.80?!

Service here was great! Did a take out and I really appreciated that the girl told me that if I paid with credit card there would a 3% fee added. It really annoys me when businesses don’t clearly inform customers of this.

Later as I was waiting, I noticed that my side order of pork cutlet was actually entered as chicken cutlet. They apologized and fixed it and the guy who came out to the front to give me my food was so nice and pleasant. The kind of person that just puts you in a happy mood!

So I come here a lot with my family food is great but yesterday there was a creepier a chubby guy in a white shirt I think in a white shirt that was trying to hollar at my wife and kept staring at her… and made her uncomfortable and disgusted …. What a creepier and unprofessional …. I told the manager I hope the manager actually did something just beware ladies!!!

The girl at the cashier gave attitude and was not professional. Food was good and other staff was good and nice. Not sure what the girl at the cashier name was but if she doesn’t like her job she should find a new one.
