Gen is a great place for BBQ. The meat quality is so fresh and great. The service is so welcoming and very efficient. There are so many options to choose from for either lunch or dinner. We were there for lunch. We picked Spicy Pork Bulgogi, Hawaiian Steak, Beef Bulgogi, Garlic Samgyubsal, Shrimp, Spicy Calamari, Assorted Vegetables. We also picked KFC and Cheese Tonkatsu as appetizers. They are all wonderfully flavored.
We come here a lot. 3x a month, at least. The only reason I gave 3 ? for service is because the servers get SO busy every time, they forget to even bring water. They are very pleasant however, I've been a server for years. I know the hustle & its not easy. BUT thats how you make a living. Service. Part of the hustle is remembering your table's needs.
