So this place, located in a strip mall in Kapolei, has the Grindz (Hawaiian for amazing food)!
My colleague took me here and wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s Korean-Hawaiian and is very similar to how Panda Express operates, but with gigantic portions. The owner and staff are super friendly and efficient and the menu has a ton to choose from. The Bonchon selection is huge, leaving you with a dilemma of what to pick.
Food is solid! I went with the Kalbi with a side of Mac Salad and greens. Simply delicious, all of it!
If you find yourself in Kapolei and want some authentic Hawaiian fare, visit this low key joint! It’s super casual and it’s a quick meal, but it’s the Grindz!!!

I am absolutely amazed with Gina’s. The price is right for the amount of food you get - one combo will feed 2-3 people. I’ve never seen a To-go box close at this place. Always 2-3 rubber bands to keep the lid down! And the food…truly amazing. I’ve never seen Kalbi short ribs so big in my life - they looked like steaks!
Order ahead and be happily surprised that my review still couldn’t do Gina’s justice. Definitely eat here, you’ll be amazed too!

YUM! This was the perfect start to our Hawaiian vacation. The atmosphere is functional - but the food and service were amazing. They suggested we split the mini family meal and it fed four adults with enough left over for at least one more. The meat was tender and flavorful. The sauces were also very flavorful. They had a wide variety of side options and it was all delicious. The sides including noodles and corn were served cold which was a bit different for me but it was still delicious. Give them a try!

This is our go-to Korean restaurant for the ENTIRE island. Honestly everything about it is just amazing. Every dish is phenomenal, the staff is AMAZING, and constantly smiling. The Kim Chee is phenomenal and Mac salad is the best!! We tried yummys korean bbq and it was absolutely disgusting and bland, which led us to try here, and we’ve been coming here for years since. I will never go to a different Korean bbq place again.

Great food and service. Came during the Sunday lunch rush and the food still came out quick in my opinion. We had the kalbi and meat jun combo and shrimp katsu mini. Mini and regular sizes fed us pretty well.

Always stop here when I'm in kapolei. The food has always been consistently good and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. The last time we went there it was pretty busy and we had to wait for a table to open up. Wish they have maybe one or two more tables to handle the busier hours.
Get their chicken wings, fried oysters, choy sum, bean sprouts, cabbage - 2 entree combo with 3 sides. Yummmmm
