Luau was good. Activities fun. Food was decent but the bugs and flies are really bad. Literally covered in flies after the food is out after 20 minutes. They need to solve that.

Just a lot of waiting in lines for no reason. Paid for premium seating. So you wait in one line to get a card that says your number of guests then you wait in another line to hand this card to someone else who seats you. This took about 25 minutes. There was no reason to have that first line. Really fun with toddlers in tow and set us up for failure. The show wasn’t very captivating. Lawn activities were totally skippable (even though 4 year old does love her temp tattoo). The food was great and servers were great too. We went to the Toa Luau night before and it blew this one out of the water.

Very upsetting, I was looking forward to trying this place. Thank god for the Marriott!! Only a short walk!! So much better!! Had my checkbook to be DVC member. Unfortunately that will never happen!! They ruined my trip!! Last time I will ever come here!!!

Go for.the atmosphere. Food is OK, some.of.it good. Some.of it unplayable for a southern taste from the southeast. Expensive for a family of six but glad I went. Disney service all the way.

Brought kids plate out first which made adults going to buffet easier. Server came by frequently checking in on us.

Plenty of time for food and they don't start show until 1 hour after food getting starts so you don't have to rush and miss any of the show.

Perfect timing of everything.

Quality is excellent. I'm just not a fan of the kind of foods.

EXTREMELY disappointed. Our Luau was cancelled due to "weather" due to rain that occurred hours before the luau start. The entire duration of the time the luau would've occurred was completely clear skies and nice weather. There was no accommodation or ability to reschedule for THREE WEEKS so we obviously missed what may be a once in a lifetime chance for us. Not only this but we received notice the luau was cancelled TWENTY MINUTES BEFORE THE START TIME, after we were already ready and heading down, again, under completely clear skies. Disney can and should do much better than this for its patrons.

Amazing experience for my birthday. Lasts 3 hours. An hour of activities, an hour of eating, and an hour for the show. There was no pig on the buffet, instead there was prime rib.

I’ve been to quite a few luaus in Hawaii and this one was one of my favorites. It definitely had the most and best variety of food. I had to get two plates in one round, and others were welcomed to go back for more. It better since we paid $200+ pp! The kalua pork here was my favorite and was actually better tasting than another local favorite. The tuna poke was good too. Other luaus do not allow seconds even though they are buffet style, but Disney kept filling the food tables. Because I booked this months ahead and got premium tickets, we got seating near the front of the stage, and we were also one of the first ones in line for the buffet.

Entertainment was good especially for the younger crowds, and not just because Mickey and Minnie made an appearance. I took my son to the Paradise Cove luau next door when he was 8, and he did not enjoy that one. It was my least favorite luau as well. He’s 14 now, and said the Disney luau was his favorite part of his trip.

My favorite one is still the Old Lahaina Luau in Maui, but I’d say this one was very enjoyable and maybe had better food due the large variety. It’s also more suitable for children obviously because it’s Disney.

Must book before your arrival at Aulani or it will sell out. The VIP seats will get you closer to the stage. The activities close fast so do them all first as soon as they open.

Had a magical time, The food the amazing entertainment. The story telling. We Ieft stuffed. The service was that of any 5 star restaurant. They brought drinks refilled my water before it emptied, checked on us. So much food and the choices were perfect. The lawn was gorgeous. We had great table mates. The dancing and story telling was fantastic The people doing the show, honestly looked like they were having just as much fun performing the show as we did watching the show. Well worth the price. Glad we did the preferred seating.

This is the luau that is hosted on site at Aulani. The show itself was engaging and entertaining. They tell lots of interesting stories about their local culture and history. The biggest disappointment for me was the food. I was hoping for more authentic traditional dishes, but there were hardly any on the buffet. The way it operates can also be misleading. Seating is basically first come first serve within the section you paid for (premium or standard). Some people knew to line up early to get good seats within their respective section. That said, I don't think there is a bad seat anywhere for enjoying the show. For food however, the tables in back go to the buffet last and that can take quite some time. There was very little Disney influence added to the show (which I preferred), but if that's what you're looking for, you will be disappointed. Overall, we enjoyed it, but if you're looking for a more authentic experience there are other options on the island.
