The menu has changed & of course, prices are higher due 2 tariffs & inflation. I love the new menu w/its creativity & fusion of different cuisines. Each dish was artistically plated. I appreciated being able 2 share my prixe fixe courses w/o any extra charge. The portions were generous. At Ko Olina there is ample parking & no pressure to dress up among golfers who end their outing @ this scrumptious 19th hole. Kudos 2 kitchen, service staff & OpenTable.

We were seated by the door to the patio. Every minute the door opened, we got blasted by the wind. The service was top notch, someone asked if we needed something every 5 min or so. Every dish was salty, so salty I was able to rinse it in my glass of water and still thought it was. The kids meals were also salty, they got a salmon entree and very dry, obviously pre cooked teriyaki chicken. The hamachi crudo was excellent, the dish was very fresh. We had Brussels sprouts, baked Brie, hamachi crudo and the butter fish.

Pre fixe menu was not at all good. First course, the little soup was salty, overly salty. The fried oyster was hard. Second course the bread/toast was stale. My lamb chop was prepared differently than usual and was heavily under seasoned. Only good thing was my other half's a-5 Wagyu.

Forgot the name of our server but he did a wonderful job throughout our time at Roy's. The Valentine's Day pre-fixed menu was perfect for my husband and I. We enjoyed everything that was served. We made the best decision coming here.

We sat outside in the lanai being that it was cooler weather. They had a DJ playing chill music. The food and service was excellent as awlays. As it got cooler into the night the staff brought out jackets for kids and other guests who were cold, which was a nice gesture. Overall, Roy's is awesome and we never have had a bad experience.

The reservation process through OpenTable was easy, and the food and service were exemplary, thank you, Trey and Elan. The butterfish is simply phenomenal, and they were able to accommodate a tree nut allergy with no problem. Another outstanding experience at Roy's Ko Olina!
I loved Roy's in the 90's. We've skipped this location for a year or two. It's received a refresh on the interior and the food presentation seemed better. I am not a fan; however, my wife loves the pineapple martini and the miso butterfish, so we will return. We had a Caesar and a glass of wine. I would have had another glass of wine; however, our server never asked if I wanted another (or came by while we were eating) the same with our water. If I am spending $100 plus a person; I expect service to come with it. If not, ill get the Poke from Foodland and enjoy a better bottle of wine.
