To dine at Roy's Ko Olina is always wonderful...the food is delicious and the service is amazing. This has always been a wonderful lunch or dinner experience for us - we definitely recommend it!
Went for our 52 anniversary. Everything thing was great. Sin took very good care of us. Everyone was super friendly from the table busters to the GM. Sea bass was great. We'll be back.
Went here for a birthday lunch and they normally give a birthday dessert but they didn't this time so not sure if they even do that anymore. The food was good and the amount was plentiful. The service was very slow and inattentive which is not typical of Roy's even if it was for lunch. What made me comment about it was the fact that it wasn't even busy. We had to a long time for our server to respond. There were also a lot of flies and they didn't have ceiling fans or those automatic fly chasers so we spent the entire time waving flies away which took away from our experience and enjoyment of the birthday.
Our servers were great but didn't get reservation information. when we reserved we noted a birthday celebration and a tight timeline. The birthday wasn't acknowledged, while other guests were greeted in acknowledgment of their events. We had to flag down another server to alert ours to our need for our check. All of the construction issues not clearly conveyed on the website- no bar area for early arrivals - leaving the small entry lobby crowded and without seating
Dad is visiting from the mainland and I took him to Roy's since I live nearby. I had the seafood paella and he had the certified angus meatloaf. Food was so good! Service from staff was prompt and on point! Thank you again to bartender for marking me a Hawaiian chili pepper margarita. Definitely would recommend!
Delicious food, fabulous service, quality of food matched the price, exceptional dining experience overall. Scott, our server, was outstanding, and the chefs and staff were fantastic!
20 year anniversary dinner reservation while staying at Ko Olina. This was our first time at Roy's. We sat on the patio, right next to the railing, overlooking the 18th green and waterfall. The view was fantastic. From the moment we sat down we were immediately greeted by our awesome beverage waiter, who blessed our anniversary. Our waiter, Derrick, was on top of his game, friendly, prompt and also made a point to wish us a wonderful anniversary. We started with the Canoe Appetizer (amazing), my wife had crab cakes and brussel sprouts (delicious) and I had the Duet (butter fish and coconut crusted white fish). WOW! The food was sensational! We did not have room for dessert, but we were brought a chocolate brownie with coconut dessert bar on a plate with chocolate and raspberry drizzle. Again, delicious! The only thing we would change would have been the crab cakes; they were more like a seafood cake - the insides were a bit mushed together and not chunky. The outside was crispy and delicious. We are from the Pacific Northwest so maybe we should stick to crab cakes there, which are amazing. However, the crab cakes at Roy's still had good flavor and overall, we have no complaints! We will be back to Roy's in the future!
Excellent from the 2 young ladies that greeted us at the door...To each team member that took the time to individually greet us. The service that they gave throughout our dining experience was truly awesome! Jason V and team keep up the great teamwork you folks are very talented at what you do! Mahalo for a great and fun dining experience. Manny and Ohana. 94 Block
Braised short ribs were on point and service was great. Bbq extravaganza was a big disappointment. Brisket was very dry. Fried chicken had no flavor and crust was soggy. Baked beans had a weird sweet flavor. Definitely not worth three Ben Franklins.
Eating at Roy's is very consistent and enjoyable. Service was lovely with the only hiccup being what the chef could make for my gf hubby. Our server was new and just needs a little bit more time to get familiar with allergies etc. We had the orzo Mac and cheese, the Roy's Cobb salad, the honey mustard short rib and the citrus hamachi (gf). Food was delicious as usual. It's hard finding gf foods with Asian profiles (without the use of tamari) but the hamachi was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the food and ambiance. It seems they are in the middle of a renovation - the outside looks lovely with the addition of a new Deck and bar.

Excellent service & delicious food. The “team” of service staff seem almost rehearsed as they were very attentive, yet not over bearing. While there is some remodeling taking place it did not impact the evening.
There were so many outstanding choices that it was difficult to choose. Our waitress aimed to please and was exceptionally helpful when it came to choosing dairy free and soy free dishes.
Great service very attentive servers. The food tasted great, but the restaurant was under heavy visible renovations. Maybe they should have just closed for a few weeks and gotten it done instead of remaining open for customers.
Roy's is dated and overpriced. Serving the same food since the 90's. Sauces had very little flavor. Still serving cheap Shutome for the fish of the day but charging opakapaka price. Definitely golf course style food.
Food was excellent, expertly presented and cooked to perfection. The service from Scott was attentive , professional and unobtrusive. His dinner recommendations were the best. A great experience.
