L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

Every time I eat there, the food was good. It came out hot and tasty. Service was good and the dining room was clean and it was also quiet.

Food portion is great, taste is great. I had the chicken garlic. I would would try different dish on the menu. All in all love the food. Try your favorite dish.

possible the worst L&L im Oahu. there was iterally multiple ppl asking how long it would be for their order while i was waiting for my own. after 40 mins i recieved my thin, burnt order made of ill fitted offcuts and somehow still cold/a little frozen in the middle. if you want to get sick dont bother ordering from here or touch anythinv either, the place was pretty run down and grotty for an L&L. yeah not worth the prices, youre better off buying from anywhere else in that area which we had to do after tossing the filth they charged us for. lady at the counter was nice though.

The L&L app QR code didn’t work in the store and the clerk could care less. Left a generous tip on the order and regret it. For a spam musubi that wasn’t honored I’d never return.

This is a great $20 plate lunch spot. The restaurant is clean, the service is super friendly, the food is delicious, and the portions are huge. You get meat + two scoops of rice + scoop of mac salad for $20ish.

Always a favorite when visiting Honolulu. Delicious steak, rice and macaroni salad.

We were exploring the area and decided to stop in for a quick lunch.
My wife got the pork ribs with white rice.
I got the chicken Katsu with white rice and "mac salad" ? (macaroni salad).
Both dishes were tasty and not overpriced.
CAUTION: I ordered the regular sized chicken Katsu. It's a lot of food!!!
I'm getting the mini portion next time.
The lady behind the counter was nice. ? funny ? ?.

Haven't eaten at an L&L location in years and was really looking forward to try it again. This was my first time at this location and at this time, the store had a 3.9 star rating, but based on my past nostalgia, I had a good feeling this place should be receiving better ratings. The food alone deserves 5 stars and that's the main reason I would visit any establishment. The proteins were very crispy on the outside, yet juicy on the inside! We got so much food for what you pay for. The previous day we had gone to a more fancy restaurant and nearly 2.5 times more but left barely feeling full. I was so happy that I convinced my wife to come here and she ended up being very glad as well after trying the food! Great food options for a very reasonable price. We had the katsu chicken (and I also ordered a side of curry sauce) and my wife got the salt & pepper pork (the both of us got all rice for sides).

If you're a regular, you get one for two people.
It's small enough to be eaten by one person.
The menu is extensive and the prices are not too expensive, which is useful in Hawaii, where living expenses are high.
The taste is also pretty good.
