awesome experience - great food, service and live music (tip the musicians!) - inside of a large grocery/food stand store but don't let that put you off - ambience also diminished by bright lighting but for us it's all about the food and service - excellent!
great food, great service, great music. we used to go Kalapawaiʻs for ou family celebrations. this place is somuch better on all counts
My family and I have been coming here several times. Service and food were always great. But today was really bad. It was after Church service and mine you, it was Easter. We were seated a little before 1245 (per my reservation), and didn't get our food after an hour. We got our appetizers a few minutes later. My husband was already hangry as we didn't get our main course yet. I think it would've been longer if he didn't ask for it. They offered to give us the dessert for free, which my kids gladly ordered. I don't know what happened as the other customers who came after us, were already eating.
Went for breakfast. Had a great server. I had the loco moco which was decent but the rice was a little mushy and there was a large piece of fat in my meat. My mom had the mushroom omelette which she said was good. My son loves the acai bowl.
Food was excellent, like a fine dining quality but not that overwhelming rich taste. Very tasty. Staff, very friendly. Couple of my guests have been there several times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I would definitely recommend it.
Food very tasty and service is quick. Kinda noisy couldn't hear the live band but whole dining experience was great!
My wife and I enjoy eating at Mahi ‘ai Table'. The food is delicious and the music is excellent.
We were a party of four adults, friends meeting for dinner. The men had the noodles (with added protein) while the ladies had two different salads, crunch and cobb. Everyone enjoyed their meal and then we ordered the kulolo sundae and vanilla ice cream for dessert. There was live music while we dined along with two large parties so the noise level was moderate. We would go back!
Overall awesome meal. Restaurant is located in the Foodland. Food was amazing. Fresh, good flavors, beautifully plated. Bartender and manager very friendly and overall a perfect meal. Highly recommended. Reasonably priced as well.

The food was very good and delicious. The scallion bread, fries, ribs, and Brussel sprouts were great starters. The Adobo and burger were also good.
Poke was room temp and not a fan. The salt and pepper shrimp was decent, but rice wasn't great.
Service was great. Hannah was attentively and friendly. Everyone was friendly. They constantly cleaned the tables.
Awesome live music, but a little loud. The restaurant was very cold as well.
Entrees took over an hour to come during the dinner rush so that could be improved.
Overall, very good restaurant. Food and service were good. I'd recommend checking it out and I'd go back to eat there again !

Finally tried this place out and it was for a restaurant week!
Off their $32 prix fixe menu we got the…
Lechon style Brussels and steamed shrimp and pork wontons for appetizers.
Crispy confit chicken and braised short rib for the entrée. We had to substitute plain white rice for the Hamakua Farms aliʻi mushroom congee, hon shimeji mushrooms under the braised short rib.
Kulolo Haupia Sundae and Lilikoi crème brûlée for dessert.
All dishes were delicious but they came out slowly. Service was good, guys were removing our plates and gave us a to go box.
The live music was nice for our diner date.

Best well kept secret in Kapolei and Foodland. It is our go to place. Sunday Brunch is the best! We love the variety of food and options. Cynthia from the hostess desk is amazing! Friendly and helpful. All the servers are super nice and top notch service! Love the Lechon Brussels, Confit Chicken etc. must try everything on the menu. Not to mention the live music! No Ka Oi ( The Best)

Mahi'ai Table in Kapolei is a true gem that beautifully marries the essence of local Hawaiian cuisine with a warm and inviting atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by friendly staff who exude genuine aloha spirit, making you feel right at home.
The menu is a delightful exploration of fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, and each dish is crafted with care.
This was my first visit and I ordered the beef stew omelette and for dessert I had the cornbread served with liliokoi butter and guava jam. Incredible!
The ambiance is relaxed yet stylish, making it an ideal setting for both casual lunches and special dinners. Whether dining with family or friends, Mahi'ai Table provides a lovely backdrop to enjoy good food and great company.
In summary, Mahi'ai Table is a must-visit when in Kapolei. With its excellent service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere, it captures the heart of Hawaiian hospitality. I can’t wait to return!

The chicken and waffles were amazing. The waffle batter was prepared so perfectly you don’t even need syrup. I definitely recommend this place.
