Great hawaiian fusion option. The staff was great and excellent acoustic entertainment. Great place for dinner on a casual and laidback setting. I cannot wait to go back!!
What a find! We were hesitant about dinner at a grocery store but it was our favorite meal of the trip so far! The service was excellent. The value was excellent. The food was Delicious! We got the salad with wasabi soy dressing, the butter fish the frozen coffee kalua pie. Each dish was delicious so I highly recommend all of these! There was also a musician who was an excellent guitarist and I really enjoyed his repertoire! We have already put this on our return list!
The food was very good; I enjoyed the braised short rib loco moco although I found the gravy a bit salty for my taste. Service was excellent - from placing the order through the end of our meal, service was attentive without being intrusive. Price was a little more than I expected, with most dishes around $20-24, but not a bad value considering the quality of the food. Overall a good spot for lunch, and I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
Food was delicious but sitting near the bar the service was very slow, probably due to the waitress has to do double duty, working the bar and serving customers. They should have a designated bartender.
It is crazy to think that a restaurant in/next to a grocery store could be this good, but it was top notch! Foodland is always our go-to store when we land in Hawai'i and need a quick fix of supermarket poke, but our concierge recommended Mahi 'ai Table as a dinner spot also. It was one of the best meals of our trip. Patrick, our server, was super friendly and enthusiastic. The manager was attentive all night and we loved the live music. It was a unique experience for sure. The food shined and the drinks were pretty awesome too. All the food is sourced locally and you could taste the island's freshest bounty. The flavors were classic Hawaii, but elevated and inventive. Please do not think that a restaurant attached to Foodland is a bad thing. It is a great thing and represents all we love about Hawai'i. Please do go and Mahalo to whoever invented this concept.

We were seated on anrrival and service was good. My breakfast was disappointing. The omelette was overcooked—the eggs were browned and the whole omelette was dry. Coffee was refilled promptly though.
Great food and atmosphere.

I love Mahi'ai table. The food is amazing and at a decent price. I love the live music but it would be nice if they could turn the volume down a little, it's so hard to have a normal conversation without screaming just to hear the person right across the table.
Food was outstanding, service was outstanding, portions were smaller than expected, particularly for a salad where cost of sales is relatively low.
This used to be one of our favorite spots to go to- you’d never expect to find it inside of Foodland. We used to always get their garlic butter noodles and ahi burger, but they no longer serve the ahi burger for dinner, and we had their garlic butter noodles last night and I couldn’t even finish it because it was so salty and way too buttery. Just drenched in butter and salt. My husband got the salmon on his Cobb salad and the quality was just not the same. Our two other guests had to return their chicken since it looked and tasted bad. Unfortunately the quality has gone downhill.

Wow, the Misoyaki Butterfish was excellent. It was one of the best meals I’ve had while visiting Oahu. GO!

Called for a take out but opted to ask for table wait and ended up making a reservation when I was told they have a table now and will reserve it for us if we want to come in instead. We took 15 minutes to get there and when we arrived and gave our name, they literally walked us directly to the table they reserved for us over the phone. That experience is awesome!
Food: We love the sticky Korean ribs and the Manila clams for starter. I always order the Caesar salad because they make their Caesar dressing in house with anchovy. Yummy! Tonight we took our dinner plate to go because I really wanted the Kulolo Haupia Sundae and the Espresso Martini. Looking forward to the next time we crave the Manila clams again.

It's a little odd to find this restaurant as you have to go into the Foodland Grocery store entrance and then they have an entrance to the restaurant off to one side. The food was very good, there was live music, it appeared that many locals frequent the restaurant so that is always a good sign.
