Made a reservation. Had a great time at happy hour then dinner. Good service and food. Planning on multiple dinners at Monkey Pods!

Great experience end to end, from the bubbly front desk, to deeply knowledgeable wait staff and inspired dishes (shrimp skillet! Bimbibap tacos!) and desserts (best banana cream pie ever), plus great live music.

The Mai Tais did not taste as good as they normally do. They almost tasted deluded. I come to Monkeypod at least once a month specifically for Mai Tais and I could immediately tell that something was off. This happens from time to time when there's a new bartender or a change in the bar section.

Vegetables for salad and celery with fried Chicken were old and withered. Not enough cheese in Margarita pizza. Do better.

Food was interesting and very tasty, but portions were small for the price. Service was excellent. Nice outdoor ambiance with live music, not too loud.

Candace was my server and she was so helpful and well knowledgeable with the menu. Super friendly and sweet. Would definitely go back because of the service Candace provided !!

Food is way overpriced for what you get. Chili’s quality food with and pre mixed $18 drinks. Please save yourself money and go to Zippy’s instead.

We had picky eaters and decided to try Monkeypods bcuz of the pizza selection. When we sat at the table, we were informed that the pizza oven was being refurbished. My husband enjoyed his meal and the rest of us just picked at some appies. I probably would have cancelled our reservation if I knew ahead of time so someone else could have enjoyed.

Monkeypod Kitchen in Kapolei is a wonderful farm to table restaurant with chill vibes and great food! My husband and I visited and was sat quickly. We heard so many great things about this spot and many YouTubers who visit Aulani recommend this spot.

The most memorable thing of the restaurant happens to be the most random thing… the Le Creuset Salt + Pepper Shakers! IM OBSSEESSSSEDDDDD with Le Creuset and seeing this was so awesome, especially since there are no locations of this company on island.

I ordered the Kailua Pork Pizza and it was delicious! I loved the crust and Neapolitan style pizza. My husband got fish and chips and we ordered the Banana Cream Pie for dessert.

This trip to Monkey pod was not great. We have had much better experiences in the past, so this was a big disappointment. It got to a bad start when the hostess insisted our reservation was at 5:45, not 5:30. I had to pull out my phone to prove it was at 530. Then, despite telling them we had four adults and two toddlers, they directed us to a table without the possibility of a highchair. The problems continued with the food; their pizza oven was broken, so that was not available, then my wife pivoted to the lamb chops, but was then told they would be discontinued in two weeks, so we can't order them now. That does not make sense, but I guess the reality is they stopped stocking these, and it was just poor wording by our server. We were planning a second visit later in this trip, but canceled that and not sure if we will return in the future.

The first thing we were informed was No Pizza. There went half of the menu selection, and there's not a lot. We still enjoyed our appetizer, entree, and drinks. The waitress was sweet. Warning to pay for parking was confusing, and after it took our payment, there were additional instructions to obtain the local rate. It was too late for us.

Very nice outdoor restaurant. We had exceptional service. The food was good but the menu is somewhat limited.

It has been months, party because of bad service earlier. However, we were in the "neighborhood since our house was being fumigated. Decided to give it a try again. Service was very good this time around and the food is still up but so are the prices. 2 appetizers, 1 salad, 2 drinks and 1 dessert and the bill was $127 (no tip included). Was it worth it? Nope. At that price value starts to creep in and it'll be months before we return. It is a resort area but still it is hard for me to justify that kind of expense. They had a few changes but by and large the menu has remained the same.

I literally paid over $250 to feed four people. The food was absolutely hideous. The fries weren't even hot. I will never step foot in this establishment again.. My wife said the fish tacos were disgusting... Over $18 for an alcohol beverage...
