We stopped for a quick lunch and are so happy we did! We ordered the fried chicken and brisket with Mac and cheese and everything was amazing! We had great small talk while we waited for our food. I love that this is truly a family run business! We are saying at a 5 star resort nearby and this food was the best we have had on our trip!

So amazing! Very old school brisket! I personally loved it! Some might find it a bit salty but it was perfect to eat with rice. The bbq sauce included was great too! Had hints of blueberry I believe. Loved the signature Mac ‘n cheese! Very interesting and delicious.
Also got the fried chicken plate and swapped out the biscuits for French fries. The chicken was very unique! Looks normal in the picture but trust me it’s done with a twist! Never had like this before but it was so good! Very soft and juicy and the breading was perfect too. The fries were seasoned well and cooked right! Not underdone, not hard and overcooked either!
Love that they sell old school cheap grape soda like we had as kids!!
Service was wonderful, the wonderful young lady taking orders was so kind.
Fair warning! Everything is made fresh to order! This means it takes time! If you want food in 3 minutes, go to McDonald’s. Real food takes time. Fresh cooked takes even more time!! This is a good sign! I’d rather have a longer wait than get food that’s been sitting out for 8 hours!

My family and I are here from out of state. We’ve been here for a week, and out of all the restaurants we’ve ate at, this has been the best/most memorable meal we’ve had. The service was excellent, the gal that helped us was so kind. The 20 minute wait is well worth the fresh food you receive. If you want some delicious, hot, and fresh food stop here! It’s amazing all around.

No doubt, the best food truck in Kapolei and one of the best on the island. These guys cook amazing food, and our whole office has tried their entire menu by now. Personally, I’m a big fan of the chicken linguine, shrimp linguine, and ribeye burger.
On top of that, they’re great, caring people, and their service has never let us down in the three years our company has been coming to them. So, I want to say a big mahalo to this ‘ohana, and I wish them plenty of hungry customers, growth in their business, and maybe even a few new additions to the menu!
Man it take 45 mins to fry 3 pieces of fried chicken, I know it says entire menu is made to order but damn! 45 mins for 3 piece of fried chicken? Service was good with lady taking orders, some chairs to sit on to wait for your order cuz I guess it takes FORTY FIVE MINUTES to fry 3 pieces of chicken ?? what they do back there in that food truck hunt the chicken that lays the eggs and then raise the chick and finally to skin and fry the chicks?!?

If you have a chance to stop by My Ohana BBQ, whether it’s for lunch or dinner, go grab yourself a plate! You sure won’t regret it! Today I got the Kalbi rib lunch plate. Everything on it was so goodd. The kalbi was cooked perfectly and the sauce that was poured ontop of it was excellent!( you have to have the sauce on the rice!) great hospitality and many selections to choose from with a great price! Don’t forget to grab you a coconut/almond/walnut cookie to complete the meal!
