Do not go here. There was a tragic incident where someone was drowned in the lagoon. Shockingly, the staff stood by and refused to help, even preventing others from going into the water to assist. It was clear their priority was avoiding liability rather than saving a life. This lack of humanity and basic decency is inexcusable. Shame on you, Paradise Cove, for letting someone die out of fear of being sued. I will never return, and I urge others to reconsider supporting a place that values policies over people.

Tourist trap — not worth the money
Everything felt rushed, and the food wasn’t even close to being worth what we paid. It’s definitely not the experience we were hoping for. We chose this luau as part of our honeymoon and took a photo there to remember the moment — but we never received it. We’ve emailed the staff multiple times and they’ve been dismissive and rude. Save your money and choose a different luau — this one was a big disappointment.

So if you’re looking for a high quality Luau, this unfortunately is not it. After experiencing multiple luaus in the island, this is on the very low quality end. There is too many people and you may have to sit very far away from the stage. You can barely see the stars and you cannot see the beach despite this area being located on Paradise Cove. The tables and chairs are janky picnic tables and the food is buffet style which makes sense because they are trying to service hundreds of people at once. The vibe feels like a major cash grab. I would recommend researching other spots on the island like Hale Koa, Jermaine’s, or the one at the Sea Park past Diamondhead.

Definitely not worth the cost. While the entertainment and service are average, the food and activities are definitely not worth the cost. Might have been even less entertaining since we visited Polynesian Cultural Center (which was actually less expensive) the day before making our visit to Paradise Cove truly a disappointing one. Limited food choices, no activities, and entertainment was not good. Pictures of Paradise Cove are much better than the actual venue and overly promise a good time. The $ given to purchase items in the gift shops are nice but the gifts are worn looking and limited. Wouldn't recommend and feel cheated. My family and I actually left before the show was finished.

WAY over priced. If your looking for a tourist trap this is it!! The only reason im giving 3 stars and not 1 is because the food was halfway decent. Very unorganized.

It's nice but expensive for dancing and things. The location kinda sucks because there is no hotels no where we got lucky and found a uber. It is safe because I lost my phone no one stole it they gave it to box exchange.

I am writing this review a few years after visiting Paradise Cove luau. Arriving was easy to check in, staff were friendly. There was lots of activities to check out, staff were great. The different performances were all amazing. The food was great.
There was a little shop to buy souvenirs. My husband and I really enjoyed this evening.
We didn't stay in a room, we were only here for the Luau.

Our recent experience at Paradise Cove Luau was truly a highlight of our Hawaiian vacation, a vibrant immersion into Polynesian culture that I highly recommend. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed into the 'Ohana (family), and the 3.5 hours flew by in a blur of entertainment, delicious food, and genuine hospitality.
A crucial tip for future guests: if you're not utilizing their transportation package, make sure to arrive early! Traffic, especially during the week, can get surprisingly hectic on the way to Ko Olina, but thankfully, there's plenty of parking space once you get there.
The evening kicks off with a variety of engaging cultural activities, and we particularly enjoyed the canoe ride and the lovely ladies who hand-painted beautiful flowers on our arms. These interactive elements truly make you feel part of the experience.
When it came to the bar, we were thoroughly impressed! The twins behind the bar were absolutely amazing! Their energy, efficiency, and friendly demeanor really stood out and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. Kudos to them for keeping the good times flowing!
The buffet dinner was a feast for the senses. There was an abundance of delicious food, showcasing a wonderful array of Hawaiian and local dishes. Seriously, there's enough to easily go for seconds (or even thirds!) if desired, so come hungry!
One small note for those planning their visit regarding photos: I learned that if you would like photos with the wonderful luau personnel, you would need to get the Deluxe Package. Initially, I thought this might be included with the Orchid Package, so it's good to be aware of the distinction upfront. On a personal note, the talented photo team wasn't able to let me recreate a specific photo I took with my daughter back in April 2013, but I completely understood their new policy and appreciate their professionalism.
Despite the minor photo policy clarification, the entire staff were incredibly friendly and made our experience so pleasant. Their warmth and dedication to sharing their culture truly made us feel like cherished guests.
Paradise Cove is a must-see for anyone visiting Oahu. They genuinely succeed in making you feel part of their 'Ohana for those magical few hours. It's an unforgettable evening of culture, food, and fun that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of aloha!

Staff were extremely hospitable. The activities and the presenters knew their stuff. Loved the traditional dances, and especially the Siva Afi. Food was delicious and the entire location was immaculate. You could see the sun set and if the weather's nice the breeze was a nice refresher against the heat.
