Well worth the money. If you’re in Waikiki spend the money for the round trip transportation. It’s not just a bus ride the entertainment literally starts on the bus and makes the trip fun. Some folks complain about the food. If you’re used to southern potluck bbq. You’ll enjoy it. No it’s not a 150 dollar per person dinner. But the trip. The show. The all you can eat bbq and the views (some of the most beautiful on earth) make it an evening worth the money FOR SURE. It’s a must if you’re visiting Honolulu.

Tourist attraction but I would say tourist money trap, if you feel like spending $300 for 2 people on top of the $60 or more for transportation for the most minimal dining options and entertainment then go to the paradise cove luau, for spending $300 on top of $100 in uber for the highly rated luau in Oahu I was highly disappointed as I’ve attended 3 other luau’s in Hawaii and sadly the quality of show and entertainment was the worst of it all, and to top it off I wasted my time to give feedback for my experience to This luau in hopes of being even partially compensated with the complete opposite of care, instead my experience was invalidated as a guest, so this has been far from the aloha experience

The luau was so much fun. Really didn’t know what to expect. There was a lot of activities to do before the food. The food and the show was really great. If you’re looking for a good time for the family or a couples night out I would highly recommend.

I've been told that I would be disappointed with a luau for the food isn't good. The friends who told me this must not have been to Paradise Cove Luau. That food was the best I had on this vacation and I had a good time. I can't remember our guide's name but she was so much fun. She remembered everyone in our large group by name. I loved hearing her call me by name, Jerry.

The night was okay. The fire dancers were really good and the show as a whole was good. The food was okay. One of the staff were particularly rude to me for an unknown reason. Not really sure why they targeted me specifically as I'm generally a quiet person that avoids people but kind of ruined the whole experience. Maybe you will have a better experience or maybe try a different spot.

The location is the biggest selling point. The food was good and traditional. I went to this Luau 10 years ago and it seems the show is pretty much the same. Highly recommend you keep this fresh and more focused on culture and education. The show had several parts that caters for sheltered white boomers. The non Hawaiian songs were kinda cringe and had karaoke vibes.

First off, our bus driver Fifi was awesome. He gave us a great run down of what to expect as soon as we got off the bus. When we got off we were greeted with real leis and muy tai’ s, if you don’t want alcohol they have non alcoholic. The first 45 minutes or so they have a few activities laid out that you can do ranging from pictures in front of the ocean to spear throwing. We got our pictures taken, went to the bar to grab some drinks and also had time to hit the marketplace. The removing the pig from the ground was pretty cool and the food was really good. It’s all buffet style, they have chicken, pulled pork from the pig and a few other things at the buffet including rice. The dancers and the fire dancers were absolutely amazing. The band was super tight, because they have them in the back you sometimes forget there’s a live band providing the music. Would definitely go back, I went with my family but if you are a couple this place is an absolute must in Hawaii.

The experience was great! It was an authentic luau, which is exactly what I was looking for. The food was good, the activities were fun, the entertainment was top notch and the location was absolutely breathtaking at sunset! The one and only suggestion I have is to step up the Mai Tai, it was more like flavored punch (lacking alcohol). Even the shuttle ride round trip was good, plenty of ac, the host was funny and very informative! If you are looking for authenticity and a great experience...this is worth the $$

Kind of disappointed with this luau. Brought my wife here for our first Anniversary and was looking forward to getting our Leis. After we got there we were separated into two different categories of people who paid more and they received flower leis. The rest of us who aren’t as fortunate received what seemed to be mass produced shell leis with no authenticity to them. Then based on what category you were in decided when you got to go get your food, where and who you sat by as well. We were instantly bummed after receiving our leis and just not the experience we were expecting to have for our first luau and anniversary. The bus guide was entertaining and the show was good but overall not the experience we wanted and paid good money for just to be segregated.
