He's got a recommendation to come to this place and we could not have asked more for the service everybody was so friendly. Unfortunately whoever was the chef that night really over salted things and I like salt. We were so happy with the service that we didn't say anything and we probably should have. We would go back again for sure
Roy's Ko Olina is where I Love to go on special occasions like Birthday , Wedding Anniversary, Christmas or just a Date Night. The staff is very Friendly the ambience is Amazing and the food is Delicious. My go to is the Misoyaki Butterfish, Hibiscus ice tea and now the Cheesecake. If you're planning to go reservations is recommended and you can request any special requests. Also if you're coming in to the Westside sometimes traffic can get a little crazy. So plan to go early and take in the view. Aloha đșâïžđ«¶đ
Our request for a quiet table outside was graciously accommodated. Lovely fresh food and attentive service. We will be back.
We went to Roy's for our final night in Hawaii. Had eaten at other Roy's locations and had good experiences. Was seated promptly at a nice window table. We were celebrating, so we asked for a wine list. 5 minutes later we got it. It was a very interesting wine list, with bottles from around the world. We were planning to spend $150 to $200. We asked the waiter for a suggestion, and he had none. We asked if there was someone else we could talk to. He left to find someone. Returned 5 minutes later, and said there was no one to make a recommendation because his manager left early(Saturday night). We decided to order a couple of glasses of wine. We split the crab cakes, spicy tuna roll, and the Paella. Crab cakes were very uninteresting. The Spicy tuna looked fancy, but I thought the Sushi we got at the ABC store the day earlier was better. The Paella was fine, but nothing special. We asked the waiter if Roy ever came in. He said that he had seen him once in 3 years. We were told he had a new restaurant in Honolulu that he spends his time at. Maybe you want to try that one and skip this one.
Excellent customer service from our waiter who helped to make my birthday celebration a great one!
Our waitress was one of the best we have ever had! She made our multiple birthday celebrations very special! She was very attentive and had a wonderful attitude!
Had a wonderful experience with my family at Roy's, hands down the best meal we had on the west side of Oahu. The service was outstanding, and we were thrilled with the very reasonable $35 corkage fee. Highlights included the sashimi, wagyu, and the Fire Citrus Grilled Japanese Hamachi, each dish was exceptional. Jessie, our server, truly made us feel like family and elevated the entire experience. We can't wait to return.
Food and service was impeccable. I enjoyed the atmosphere

We had a 7:30 pm reservation at Royâs Ko Olina and were seated after a brief wait, but placed indoors in a hallway-like area with little atmosphere. Appetizers arrived around 7:45 pm, while mains didnât arrive until 8:45 pm, with no explanation or communication. Dining with tired kids made the long delay especially frustrating. At a ~$500 price point, we expected much better pacing and service.

A classic spot though can feel a tad dated.
Spring roll (3/5) - crispy and flavorful but maybe a bit saucy
Butterfish (5/5) - perfectly executed
Chilean seabass (5/5) - moist and nice sides
Cantonese steamed fish (3/5) - not what i expected as a cantonese. It wasnât really close at all to the traditional style but did have a few notes of cantonese flavors

On the day of my fatherâs naming feast, our family gathered at the noble hall known as Royâs Ko Olina. Upon arrival, we were greeted with great warmth by the gatekeeper Tatiana, who guided us to our table with grace befitting a royal court.
The stewards of the house, Lords Chavis and Derek, came forth to offer their welcome and gratitude, a gesture that spoke of true leadership and care for their guests. At the bar, the master of potions Matthew poured elixirs of remarkable craft, each more pleasing than the last.
Our table was well tended by Quinn, a kind and capable attendant who managed our large company with calm efficiency. Ever watchful was the squire Itumalomanuatele, who ensured our cups never ran dry and carefully packed the remnants of our feast for safe travel home.
Melody and song filled the hall as Jasmine Nicole performed live music of exceptional beauty, elevating the evening to one of true celebration. Beyond our table, the fellowship of Caio, Andrew, Jaku, Neil, Sin, Shavon, Christian, Roman, Treson, Adrian, Aiden, and Chaz ventured forth to offer birthday wishes to my father, an act of notice and honor rarely seen.
Royâs Ko Olina is a house of fine fare, loyal service, and generous spirit. Should you seek a feast worthy of celebration, you will find it here.

Food was ok but not as good as expected for the prices!
Strawberry and watermelon feta was not that good, the Brussel sprouts were good but a large size and very heavy.
Macnut crusted island fish again a heavy dish.
I think there are other great food options on the island but itâs a great âhigher-endâ restaurant with decent food.

Roys at KoOlina Golf Club. Perfect meal after golf. Patio overlooking the 18th hole. Canoe for two, and the newest item crispy edamame sticks. Drinks and a Chocolate lava Soufflé. Always a treat.
