Service was super slow, totally over priced for the food we got. My steak was over cooked and the lamb was terrible. Only good thing was the appetizer shrimp we ordered. Oh and whatever you do don’t order the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were terrible. The place was beautiful though. Three stars for the decor.

Totally disappointed. Reservations: easy and we were seated right away Decor 4 star Very tastefully done. Bathroom kinda funky setup. You walk thru swing doors and enter into handwashing station. Left side men, Right side women. Each side has a curtain with 2 bathroom stalls with doors, thank you. Service: 1 star. We had a new young waiter we cut him some slack. We ordered a bacon wrapped 3 jumbo shrimp appetizer ..that was decent. Food 1 star I ordered a garlic chicken, garlic mash, broccoli. Chicken had no flavor and was dry. My friend had a mahi fish super dry, tasteless. Each meal was over $30 so we picked at what we could. It took an hour to get our food. Temperature cold. I ordered a Pepsi, had to remind the waiter. Ahh hes new. Asked for a refill of my pepsi. A manager came to ask how our meal was. We told him we were were disappointed with our meal. He offered us 2 free chocolate cakes, which was surprisingly was better than the food. He should have comp minimum 1/2 the bill. Sooo another waitress asked if we were ok..my girlfriend said she didnt have any refills of water her entire meal, she offered to get a water. Never came back with water. At this point my friend went to the bar to get her water and said she was disappointed with the service and food, all eyes upon her. Waiter remembers the pepsi refill, by then we are done, no thanks just the check. Waiter gets the check. we are charged for 2 pepsi...nope bill is corrected. Bottom line 1 star, bad service all the way around. terrible food. Would I go to Sugar Cane again..nope..too many cheaper, tastier, places to dine.

Delicious. Every. Single. Time. I love bringing my family. Great for kids too. Awesome live music often. Quality food. Great drinks. Spectacular service. Beautiful ambiance. Always worth coming back.

My husband and I were excited to try because the happy hour but saw the prices for the cocktails were $10 each. So much for a happy hour price. Waited so long to get our food just for my chicken to be completely raw and my husbands steak too rare. The portions were so small we left hungry. By the time the server came back with my food my husband was already done with his plate. The mashed potatoes had no flavor. Definitely will not be returning. Even the couple sat next to us had to send food back for being raw and flavorless. Very disappointing.

Friend is in town, we all decided to try this place out. We get there before our reservation time (7pm), we're seated (there's 7 adults 1 minor). We order around 7pm.. we literally don't get our food until after 8pm. Everyone except two of us ordered either steak or lamb... everyone's meats were over cooked. Obvious signs of steaks being thrown on the grill right from the freezer ("juices" from the steaks tasted like water), and the lamb seemed to have been sitting under the heat lamps for So long that it came to the table medium well when we had requested medium rare. Side asparagus was literally 4 stalks in a giant boat, and the "garlic mash" barely resembled potatoes. Nothing had any seasoning on it, and the steaks were charred to all hell. One salad was forgotten, and the waitress apologized stating "it seemed to have been forgotten in the shuffle".... We were literally one of MAYBE four or five groups in the entire place. Both Caesar salads came out undressed, and when we asked the waitress for Dressing for the Caesar salad, she brought back ranch when we specifically asked for caesar dressing. The waitress didn't ask us once to refill our waters or drinks; the whole experience was quite terrible across the board. Additionally, the automatic 18% gratuity is BS. It is not the customer's responsibility to pay these servers a living wage. Overall a pretty bad experience. We should've listened to the other reviews. Wait time for food is ridiculous, and for the amount of money we spent, the food was not good. Would not recommend.

Wasn't the best experience. Service was good but slightly ditzy. Some dishes came out quick while other dishes took forever to come out. The dishes were a hit or miss on flavor. Brussel sprouts were good. Sashimi was cut so thin! Crab was okay. The lamb was tasty, slightly over cooked. The salads were tasteless. Some portions weren't entree size. The ambience was nice, glad there wasn't live music. I probably would not go again. At least I got to try it once.

Expensive & just okay - very limited menu, if you don't want meat, you are extremely limited - and you will still pay a lot. Although service was good & I can't recommend it.

Do NOT waste your TIME or MONEY. You will literally wait an HOUR for your food. I would give ZERO stars if I could. My family of 5 and I went this past Friday 7/22/2022. The restaurant wasn't busy for a Friday night (should've been a clue). The waitress was great. The owner introduced himself to us. Ordered our food took about 40-50 mins for our kids food (Mac n cheese and chicken tenders and fries to come out). Our food took an hour I was mad my grandma 86 years old had her FISH plate come out last. I was so upset I tried to politely explain to the owner, he didn't apologize just said steak takes 30 mins and then said he would talk to the guys (chefs). While we were waiting we went to use the bathroom about 40 mins in and guess what, MR OWNER and whomever he's sitting with has their food!! While NONE came out to ours. I was pissed. As we were standing to leave he then ask the waitress if she gave us our check because he was going to take somethings off the bill. I think this was calculated that he came as we were LEAVING. The waitress ask him how about a discount when we come again he agrees to a 30% - 40% off our bill. Well he don't deserve not $1 of my hard earn money. BTW my grandma likes her food she said a little salty. I had a pork chop that was TOUGH to cut, my husband's steak was tough too and he said no FLAVOR. I could've got a delicious pork chop at Anna Millers for much cheaper. This cost me $35.

If you're in the area, around the area, or even visiting the island, we definitely recommend you try this establishment. Have to give them 5 stars because of the 5-star service, 5-star environment and lastly the 5-star food. Hostess were very nice and professional and the owner was very hospitable and friendly. They made this night 1 for the ages for me and my lady.

This restaurant is always empty and now I know why. Both of the appetizers we ordered were flavorless. The main entrees took way too long to get out dispute having an empty restaurant. This place claims to be high end, but the food and drinks at Buffalo Wild Wings down the street is far more superior…

We celebrated many birthdays in the family by having supper at Sugarcane. Around six o'clock on a random Monday evening, this establishment was relatively deserted but quickly began to fill up as the night dragged on. You are able to make bookings via the website. The level of service is remarkable. Very kind and helpful personnel! The ambiance is quite pleasant. It was almost like being in a high-tech office, complete with a variety of tables and seats.

When I came to this business in December 2021. Sugarcane was amazing! My wife finally arrives on island and I tell her all about this place. I finally get her here and what do we get? Long wait times for our food, raw gristle heavy steak, dry mashed potatoes, and spoiling lobster (had a windex taste). The lamb and mule was very good. I don’t know if they went under new management or were bought. But this place was scaled way down in quality of menu options, food, and staff.If we come back to this place, I hope they turn around. That’s how good they used to be.

It was the best steak I have ever tried, tender, delicious. Definitely I'd come back to eat it again. And fillet minion with broccoli in kids menu it's something amazing, my daughter said it was very nice broccoli. Finally not only french fries in kids menu. Thank you ❤️
