Uncle Lani's Poi Mochi

I recently visited Uncle Lani’s Poi Mochi, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. Upon entering, the team’s interaction was fine but lacked the warmth that makes a customer feel welcome.

As for the donuts, they didn’t taste freshly made. They seemed like they’d come out of a microwave, with one side hard and the other side mushy—a surprising inconsistency. Despite the popularity suggested by online reviews, we were the only customers at the time, which seemed unusual.

We tried all three glazes, and while the Haupia glaze was my favorite, the amount of glaze seemed excessive, perhaps compensating for the donuts’ lack of freshness. I genuinely wanted to love these, and I hope my feedback helps inspire improvements.

ok taste, homemade has better taste but it is such a pain in the a$$ and messy to make at home, so for $10/dozen hard to beat!!!

We could get in the store because they run out of mochi pretty quickly. We caught the food truck though and walked away with yummy warm mochi.

First time eating poi mochi. Amazing spot and Amazing poi mochi. Also the lady that gave us our box told us a little story about the mochi love this place ??

I get so excited to see this truck around. My favorite treat on island!

Delicious hot poi mochi. I went to the poi mochi food truck. The service was quick and it was pretty affordable. A dozen poi mochi for only 10 dollars. Quite delicious. I ordered poi mochi with haupia drizzle because the poi drizzle ran out. It was amazing. Hot, fresh, made to order.

This place is super duper. I always try to come here when I visit Oahu. The poi mochi is crunchy and chewy and awesome. I think it would be nice if they had more flavors available, but the two they have are super good. I wish I was able to eat more food. If I could I would eat a whole box of these things. The staff are super nice.

They don't even answer their phones not making the drive all the way from east side if they don't pick up the phone

Lucky that it was open. These were so delicious, both flavors are amazing. Looks like they sell out a lot though.

At Walmart stuck and waiting for a tow truck, asked twice to order while we’re waiting for the truck, we wanted to pickup poi donuts at the Nanakuli farmers market but we forgot! It sucks that they wouldn’t even consider taking our order and refused our business!! She told me twice at two different times 30 minutes apart that it would be 30 minutes before they could take my order ?

So tasty!!! I’m obsessed!!!
