The ice cream is not only terrible, but overpriced! It tastes artificial. Each flavor is as though it was designed by someone who hasn’t eaten ice cream in years, but has a knack for chemicals.

The breakfast applewood bacon flatbread is INCREDIBLE! wish we went sooner so I could’ve had it every day! It was great the second time too! I shared it with my husband and added a second egg over easy and it was the perfect meal!

Did breakfast here one morning. It’s a cute and adequate food stop. Ordered the vegi egg sandwich and it was better than I expected. Yes it’s expensive but everything on Maui is expensive.

Plz teach your staff the difference between a cappuccino and a latte. Paid $9 to throw the coffee away

Service is fast and friendly despite all us annoying tourists.
The food is what can take a long time coming out, which is pretty obvious when one sees a line out the door.
If one doesn’t want to wait for food, just grab one of the ready made sandwiches and/or salads.

As someone who doesn’t live in the USA anymore, it was great to see Erewhon products sold in Maui.

Only one person working... The problem was they were in such a hurry that packed the food instantly. Both lids melted onto the foot and the sauce containers on top with them. Very gross and unhygienic. Also typically when food is insanely hot, food handling rules say to have holes in the lid

Loulu is the high end cafe and all-day grocery / snack / fingerfood store at the Grand Wailea Waldorf Astoria resort. Accessible from the lobby area within the Shops, also by a ramp for handicap access. Outdoor patio with resort view, but limited ocean view. Curated by Erewhon from LA - do I need to say more?? What a fashionable topic for all the influencers ;). High-end items and top quality throughout. If you believe resort pricing is typically expensive, you are mistaken. Crazy prices with top markups. Friendly service and stylish clean atmosphere. We tried the smoothies, indeed very good and tasty. IMHO not justified prices at all. We could ease the $ pain by using our daily F&B credits fortunately. Would I return? Likely not. YMMV.

Got raw chicken :( Food was good if properly cooked. Second time I went there I got raw chicken. Walked entire two building wings to return the food. They fried the replacement chicken with the chicken cut open 😂 and covered the chicken when giving to me (I assume so that I don’t see it cut open?) It’s not pink anymore but definitely dry.

The prices in this place are outrageous, the grab and go items don’t have a price tag on them so its a surprise when you go and checkout, almost paid $28 for a small bag of plantain chips which is absolutely insane, also there was only 1 employee and the line was building up, people had questions but no one there to help.

Awkward, charging to the room without asking and wanting to pay cash than double charging. Waiting to see and expecting a tip to ring a charge? Clean, but a little pressure to tip and and no eye contact with guest. The experience in the hotel in general has been mixed. Beautiful property but feeling that you are annoying everyone just for asking questions…

I had a very disappointing experience at this store over the two weeks I stayed nearby. I came here every day and spent money regularly, often buying pizza and meals. Despite this, I was never offered an extra plate — not even once — until my very last visit. And the only reason I got one was because I overheard the staff offering extra plates to another customer while ignoring me.

There seems to be a clear difference in how customers are treated based on their race. I ordered two meals that were supposed to come with free fruit or chips, but no one informed me of that. When I picked up my food and asked if I should have received two fruits, the staff initially told me “only one” after checking my order. I had to double-check, and only then was it confirmed that it should have been two — no apology, no explanation.

Also, I had to ask twice for a bag to carry all my items, even though I had multiple orders. The staff made no effort to offer one on their own.

Futhermore, they give me a over burned pizza with the crust all in black, I find out until I get back to my room. So I have to go all the way back to the store tell them, even it's a different person taking care of it, she did not say a word, just simply asked if I want a refund or have it re-do. No applogies until I verbally express my disappointment.

Despite the beautiful location and view, the customer service here is one of the worst I’ve experienced. The lack of basic courtesy and the way some customers are treated differently is unacceptable.

Fantastic place for a morning coffee and pastry or a quick breakfast. Outdoor patio seating with beautiful scenery overlooking the Grand Wailea gardens with an ocean view. The breakfast pastries were absolutely amazing. They also have a Portuguese sausage in one of their breakfast bowls that is perfection for flavor and texture. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and patient as they have a surprisingly large menu to go through. You can also order to go and take food up to your balcony or down to the beach. We saw a lot of people getting their pizzas later in the day but didn't try it ourselves. We did get the gelatos. The dark chocolate was the best as the other flavors were a bit sweet for my taste, but everyone else loved them all.
