Great food, you get big portions! Pricey for a strip mail little restaurant for the BBQ ribs but they were delicious! Family enjoyed everything we got and finished it up quick. Would recommend the short ribs as you get like 8 large pieces!!

They ran out of Spam Musubi…which means they don’t make those items to order…which is ridiculous for something they consider their staple.
Also, if they run out of those in a combo: they just sub it with more rice or mac salad with no option for other items. This is a cheap and stingy policy.
Otherwise, the rest of the food is fine.

This place was recommended to me by a local. This is my first time visiting Kīhei, Hawaiʻi, and the food I’ve had so far (excluding seafood) has been bland.
Da Kitchen has friendly, welcoming servers; however, the loco moco and deep-fried musubi I ordered were truly disappointing. Both dishes lacked seasoning and tasted like nothing. The only seasoning used seemed to be a very light sprinkle of iodized salt.
If you’re coming from a diverse city or country with real, bold flavors, seasoning, and spice, I recommend avoiding tourist-popular restaurants in Kīhei or bringing your own seasoning.

Da Kitchen has a great selection to choose from. My wife and I were here for vacation and came back twice for the breaded and fried Mahi Mahi! So good! And the fries were top notch, hot & fresh. Perfect experience
