I was excited to try local food on my first trip to Hawaii, but the man running this shop was extremely rude and unprofessional. I ordered fish tacos and a Diet Pepsi (listed on their digital menu). When I asked for the drink ahead of time, he snapped, “Do you see a Diet Pepsi on display?” and refused to refund me when I pointed out it was advertised on the screen. Instead, he ignored me and walked out of the truck. The tacos were delicious, but the disrespectful service ruined the experience—unfortunately, that’s why I’m giving this place one star.

Tried ordering from the place because it was “open” (5:00 pm) but the gentleman inside kept hiding. It was only until he got off from the table to prepare an online order where we informed the gentleman that the kiosk was not working due to the wifi being disconnected. My mom informed the gentleman that it was down and he replied “that sucks” and went back to making the online order. We ended up ordering from a different truck and every passerby that tried ordering got ignored. It’s a shame to not get served especially as a tourist. We’re not sure whether the gentleman is trying to keep the truck open for hours completed but he should at least close the lid/kiosk down to notify that he’s not taking orders. 9/24/25

The Maui Pineapple burger was amazing! Probably the best bun I've ever had, and the rest of the burger was great too. The food was ready when expected, and we got plenty of sauces for dipping options.

Wow! Was on the hunt for a local food truck offering some local flavor and Da Nani Pirates did not disappoint! Generous portions for the price. Shoyu chicken was moist, Mac salad on-point, jazmine rice flavorful. Staff was in good spirits. Definitely eat here at Maui Food Truck Park in Kahului Maui!

Atmosphere: Lots of food trucks to pick from and plenty of outside tables. Very casual and perfect for large parties and families.

We had Shrimp Po Boy, which made my husband's tummy very happy. Ginger pineapple teriyaki shrimp was also very good with huge shrimps. Lots of flavors complimenting nicely. Glad we stopped by for a quick bite to eat.

We stumbled on this food truck area by mistake and glad we did. It was good, calamari was pretty chewy but the rest of the food made up for it. The refillable lemonade mason jar was great and a decent value and souvenir.
