Such an amazing find in Maui. My wife is Argentine. Have enjoyed South American dining many times first hand. This is the best Argentine I’ve had outside of B.A. better than anything in Los Angeles to boot! The gaucho sausage sandwich was delicious. The empanadas were amazing. Can’t find corn ones anywhere. This one’s great. The beef empanada is soooo good. Like biting into a beef stew! My wife had the breaded steak sandwich. She took it all down. We were stuffed....read full review

El Carrito serves Argentinean Hawaiian fusion cuisine with fresh and bright ingredients. This friendly food truck offers fantastic aloha choripan, including a vegan (tofu) version with grilled pineapple and mango salsa that has been praised for its amazing flavor. Their legit choripan and Lomito sandwich are also popular choices, bringing back memories of Buenos Aires. Guests can enjoy exceptionally delicious steak empanadas, which are a highlight, as well as a huge side salad. The refreshing mango pineapple lemonade complements the meal perfectly. Though some find the prices a bit high, the overall experience in the adorable food truck court/patio area makes it worthwhile. The service is good, with plenty of seating available outside.
