Noticed the ingredients aren't really fresh. Croutons stale, thickened dressing and greens just.. off. Seems to be only this location has that issue from my experiences of visiting. Their twin location in Kahului is on point however(i reviewed Kahului). This place has potential.
This review isn't meant to demoralize, just to be constructive 🙂 Looking forward to the Lahaina location to open

I have been coming to the Kihei store several times a week for the past 6 months and can honestly say I absolutely love the salad and in most cases, the Service. Everyone behind the counter is very friendly with the exception of the older woman. I can't remember her name but it starts with an "A". I have never seen anyone with such a negative attitude. I understand that people have bad days but EACH and everytime she makes my food, she does so with an attitude. The other day, I ordered a wrap. I started the order with making the salad and she abruptly said "Come on, don't you know this starts with the wrap first" Then, when she was putting the salad together, I paused to pick out the toppings. Her facial expression said it all. She has such a bad attitude that on many occasions I did not want to come back but love the place. In fact, 6 of my colleagues also visit the establishment and has the same feelings as me. She talks to customers as if she is inferior to them. As stated earlier, each and every staff member is so nice and always does their best to help the customer. Maybe she is best working in the back room and not exposing herself to paying customers. I don't want to sound mean, but can imagine the number of folks that feel the same...Just ask your employees

Ok so the food was good. It is nice to find some crisp romaine and greens, however, the gal who put my bowl together, I later realized, did not change her gloves which she was touching her face, surfaces, and register with besides physically touching the ingredients she was adding to the bowl. It is alarming how unaware people are of these things. People are back to their pre-Covid careless and dirty practices. ? I didn’t complain…it might be good for my immune system but hopefully I don’t get the runs. ? It’s a make your own bowl place like any other you can find anywhere in a city just with a different name.

I prefer the Kahului location only because Kihei gives less dressing and less food and our wrap completely fell apart. Everyone that works there has always been super nice though

Great ability to create and customize your own bowls! They have an ingredient list with so many different options! They tend to fill your salad bowl more with leaves instead of the other ingredients though. The staff member helping me was also a bit abrupt.
