Among all the great Japanese restaurants in Hawaii, this one may not stand out. Their food is authentic and decent, but I think what truly elevates the experience is the service, the staff were incredibly friendly and made the atmosphere feel authentic and welcoming. It’s a solid choice still!

Have not had authentic Japanese food since moving to Canada six years ago. This restaurant reminds me of those home operated restaurants in Okinawa. Really appreciate the food and everything. Will come back for every meal during my stay in Maui.

One of the best restaurants on Maui. They are a smaller business w one person running the floor. Be patient and be nice to them, this isn’t a suggestion they are good people and don’t deserve to be treated any less than great. If you are fortunate enough to have Kentaro you are gonna have a good night
