The restaurant has only 11 counter seats and a 4-top, with two seatings per night at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., so reservations must be made at least a month in advance, often filling up quickly. There is a strong local clientele, and walk-ins are unlikely to get a seat without a reservation. The menu features many market-priced options such as sashimi, maki, nigiri, and other shellfish, with the chef guiding guests through a delicious omakase experience. The ambiance is very traditional, with no hotel glitz—just simple ingredients prepared in time-honored tradition. A small app and fruit plate are included with dinner, and beer, wine, and sake are available. Service is outstanding, and food is amazing, making it worth the wait. For those short on time, they also offer to-go orders with a minimum of $100, which can be picked up by calling a day in advance.
