Lappert's Kauai Pie is my favorite ice cream anywhere. So tasty! Service is always fast and friendly. The last time we went, I noticed their cookies, which were only $2.29. That seemed especially reasonable for a storefront. The Paniolo Cookie looked especially good.
Being the only creamery around the area, I was afraid that Lappert's may just be "commerical". But we're so glad we made the stop. The ice cream flavors were definitely local-leaning, with heavy usage of macadamia nuts and we absolutely loved it. It wasn't just some nuts sprinkled on regular ice cream but were truly macadamia-based.

This is the second Lappert’s Ice Cream and coffee we have been to. Both stores have excellent ice creams. If you do not know what to order then go for the Can’t Decide! Choose 5 different half scoop of 5 different flavors.
