What a great place to hang out. Food and drink was great. Live music was great. Service was even friendlier and better.

Fun atmosphere and great food! Gluten friendly also. The fruit in the Maui Fruit Bowl was so fresh, and the gluten free banana bread that came with it was amazing. There are chickens walking around that are fun to watch, but they do not bother you!

If you are looking for the coolest casual hangout with great food and bar, you have to try Nalu
WHAT ARE WE TIPPING FOR?!
You order from the hostess. You have to retrieve your drinks from the bar. You have to get your own coffee or water. You have to get up from your table to order a 2nd drink at the bar. This is obnoxious and I'm sick and tired of the BS tipping culture for zero service that's taking place.
Objectively though... Good food.
The menu is great - there were some breakfast options with greens, and I love getting some veggies in first thing in the morning.

Great spot in Kihei. We stopped for lunch and had an Ahi sandwich and the crab BLT. Both were delicious. Nice little touch with the flavored water stations too.

The French Toast dish is incredible and a must have. Get there early as they seem to be quite busy around breakfast/brunch time.
Interesting set up as you pay and order your food at the hostess desk and then are sat and served your food. Most likely helps them deal with the longer lines more efficiently.

Nalu’s is hands down my favorite spot in Kihei for brunch, dinner, and happy hour! Their black & blue ahi benedict is absolutely incredible 🤩, and the ahi club—with perfectly seared ahi and just the right kick of spicy mayo—is another must-try 😋. Every burger I’ve had here is spot-on delicious. Add in the FREE live music every night, and it’s always such a fun, lively atmosphere. The staff and bartenders are consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. I could never get tired of dining at Nalu’s!

Salads were very sweet and drenched in dressing. My mom’s mahi mahi was very tough and didn’t taste fresh. Crab cakes were ok. There were flies indoors, you had to keep swatting them away the entire meal

Food was good. If offered to sit outside, decline. There were flys everywhere.
Had a great breakfast here. Danny the manager of the day checked in to see if we needed anything. He brought over a small glass so we could try their house made hot sauce. Attentive and friendly service was much appreciated for breakfast. Food was excellent and tasty. We had the French Toast and Three Egg Omelette. Casual family atmosphere at breakfast time. Interesting array of flavored water.

Another great spot to enjoy good food. We stopped in for brunch, you order at the counter and seat yourself. I had the the light Kane breakfast and Açaí bowl. My husband had the fish and chips and our friend had the heavy Kine breakfast. Garlic potatoes were awesome! Açaí was delicious. Fish was a local and cooked perfect.
