I was very impressed with this spot. Group had fish and chips, shrimp cocktail, grilled snapper and drinks. Everything was cooked exceptionally well, and such a good price point. Seasoning on the fried items was on point, with the perfect crispness without being dry.
Would highly recommend to those looking for this type of food, as it's a great price point and excellent quality. Note that it's a self seating so it's that kind of place, but we found seats easily (but like everywhere, look out for birds/chickens)

The first place I go when I visit Maui (both times, lol) because the blackened Mahi with half 'n half (rice + potatoes) just cannot be beat. Great meal, often a line, sometimes a long one. So worth it.

The also got a seasonal draft. I must say, it was super crisp and a good beer. My fish was a bit over cooked, tasted okayish (I would prefer it seasoned better tbh) and also got a side of onion rings (pretty decent)

Staff was super friendly and inviting. There was clear sign posted to order prior to sitting. A food server noticed we were peering around heads to look at the menu on the wall and he gave us paper menus and smiled. We ordered mahi mahi and the fish and chips. The lady placing our order noticed we didn't order drinks and gave us water cups without us asking. Food was great and really fresh. I overheard another table mentioning the clam chowder was amazing.
Overall, I would recommend this place for their good food, good people, and good atmosphere.

Fresh, flavorful, and truly local! Paia Fish Market in Kihei serves some of the best fish you’ll ever taste perfectly cooked, generous portions, and always fresh. The casual island vibe makes it even better, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. A must-stop in Maui for anyone who loves great seafood!
