Not being a huge fan, I got the micro size with vanilla ice cream, which was perfect. The next size up is small but it's too big for me. It's good, but to be honest, I'd rather have the ice shavings on the chunkier side, rather than the fine and fluffiness that they're known for.

Strawberry
My mom enjoyed it but commented that the syrup is too sweet. She added azuki beans which made it even sweeter. As far as texture, she and I are in the same boat.

TIP:
I overheard one of the workers telling another customer that they're so short staffed, sometimes they can't open the 2 locations (Kahului and Kihei) at the same time. So call ahead!

This is a great spot! When it comes to moving through a long line of people excited for shave ice quickly, they are the pros.

So far this is the biggest selection of flavors we've encountered on the island. I went for a blueberry. raspberry, and lemon combo this time. But with all of their options I can't wait to come back to try another mix.

They have a great system for ordering at one window and picking up at another. Plus they always tell you to let them know if you need more syrup.

Lots of outdoor seating and super friendly staff waiting to get you your fix.

Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice is hands down the best shave ice I’ve had in Hawaii — and I’ve tried four different places! The texture is unbelievably soft and fluffy, and the flavors taste so fresh and vibrant. You can really tell they use high-quality syrups and ingredients. The service was friendly, and everything was made perfectly.

If you’re going to try shave ice anywhere in Hawaii, make sure it’s here. Nothing else compares — 10/10 recommend and will definitely be going back before departure.

Every time I have friends in from the mainland this is the first place they all want to go!!! It is the best shaved ice I’ve ever had! Love the macadamia ice cream on the bottom! Too many flavors to choose from so you have to go back every day to try something new!

Popular shaved ice spot with multiple locations. Came here for an afternoon sweet treat and ordered the Local Motion with the snow cap and macadamia nut ice cream. The Ulu size was good for two and we really enjoyed the mixture of the condensed milk with the shaved snow. You pay and order first before receiving your order. They have a free parking lot. Be careful with the birds because they are aggressive in trying to steal a bite of your dessert.

The BEST shave ice I’ve ever had! All our kids loved it too! They even had unique flavors I’ve never seen anywhere else!! Don’t miss this!
