Tried to order ahead, was immediately placed on hold and after some time the call dropped. Tried again, same thing happened, so we ordered in person instead. The sushi was fine, not spectacular like some other reviews have mentioned. Maybe the sushi burrito or poke would have been better, but the rolls were underwhelming. The miso soup was surprisingly disappointing as well. In my opinion, if you're looking for the best maki on island, there's a Thai sushi place in Lihue...
If you only get sushi once on the island, this is where you should go. We have been coming to this spot for years and cannot say enough good things about the food and service. Daily fresh caught local fish served up in creative and delicious dishes in Maki Roll, Sushi Burrito, or Poke Bowl style.
Loved this place, the staff were super friendly and helpful. I ordered a poke to go and it was ready I'm just a few minutes. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious ❤️😋😋
