We went to Anake’s juice bar several times during our time on Kauai. The lava flow smoothie was our favorite! The açaí bowls we tried were unique and flavorful! You will need to omit honey if needed.

Don’t drive by this small market, juice bar is inside. We went for the acai bowl, great price for a large portion. Açaí base good ( not my absolute fave but hubby loved it) with plentiful topping and I believe Angola Granola. Get there by 3pm!
I had my first acai bowl on the island here, and I waited to try other places before writing this review. Out of the five locations I’ve tried, this is by far the best.
They offer a wide variety of options, including specific choices for every type of diet.
I didn’t try the juice myself, but I heard plenty of praise from others who did.
Issues: • The line is unbelievably long. • Since it’s inside a market, seating is very limited, and the atmosphere feels cramped. • It’s located at the very back of the market, making you question if you’ve come to the right place at first.
Vegetarian options: They have vegan options.
Dietary restrictions: They have lots of options for all restrictions.
Parking: Grocery store has limited parking space.

This place made my day with the açai bowls! I had here everyday of my stay in Kauai! Although I felt they do not use fresh fruits for toppings if that is something you are looking for! Otherwise it tastes great!! I loved the ABC juice as well

Got their sau sai açaí bowl and added a few fruit toppings, it was so refreshing and tasty!! Their smoothie is good too, not watery like other juice bars. One small complaint is there were a few flies in the market’s dining area but not a big deal.

Pretty fresh smoothies and juices, but probably better off getting açaí bowl instead. Price for what you get isn’t worth it to me. I enjoyed the smoothie at coconut corner more myself. The one here could’ve been blended more and less icy.

I used to absolutely LOVE this place. It’s been my favorite spot on the island for years. I was really shocked and disappointed, today, coming here and being shamed for not taking my “health issue” of being severely/anaphylactic allergic to walnuts and other nuts, “seriously”. The granola has a myriad of nuts in it - last time that I came here - I did not realize it and caught it before I ate the bowl and they made me a new one with no issue and were incredibly kind about it… today, I didn’t even think to read the sign because I was so excited and forgot to ask about the nuts. When I got my bowl and noticed the walnuts on top- I asked the employee about a new bowl - he told me to “scrape it off” and they can’t make a new bowl with all new ingredients without me paying for it, again. I talked with the manager of the place and then the owner of the store - this was the most disappointing part - to have the owner shame me and tell me - we have a small sign that says it has nuts in the granola (it doesn’t list the nuts at all) and that I need to be better at telling people about my “health issue”. It was incredibly rude. I asked for a refund and she actually gave that to me - but refused to make a new one and said that it’s my fault for not being able to read signs or ask about the nut policy. I was really bummed because I have never had the workers be so rude here and the owner to be even more rude. I used to recommend this place to every single person. I won’t be doing that anymore because of poor treatment. Also, my sisters found PLASTIC in their acai bowls! I’m sure they wouldn’t make a new one for them either…. Pictures of the plastic below…

Giant açaí portion, closer to a smoothie texture maybe? Funky monkey had peanut butter flavor in the base and added creaminess. I got another one without pb in the base and didn’t like it as much. A really nice experience in the grocery store, and great value.
