I absolutely love this place the food was filling and delicious. But beyond that the owner was super friendly. Threw in a drink we chatted about life. Even offered to cater my wedding if I had it on Kauai. Really enjoyed the time I had here and would come back.

Stopped in for a quick lunch in town and were craving bbq. The owner was super friendly and we enjoyed talking with him. We live in Texas so our bar for bbq is pretty high, but this surpassed our expectations. Ribs were tender and juicy, pulled pork was moist and flavorful, and the mac and cheese was delicious. The value here is what really stands out, $20 a pound makes this place a no brainer. Do yourself a favor and stop by, you won’t regret it.

Blah. I ordered the chicken plate with mild BBQ sauce and Mac and cheese as my side. The chicken was not fresh at all, and it was very tough. It was reached in the sauce which was just gross and had a horrible flavor. The Mac and cheese was the only thing I semi-enjoyed. Even that tasted like it was made a few days ago. Skip this place and save your $$. Area it's located in is disgusting too. I had ants and chicken all over my plate.

Great Barbecue! From Oklahoma so I know what the good stuff is (we have to drive to Texas for the good stuff). Anyway, D Green’s Que comes with a sauce on the side but I didn’t need it. Ribs were some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Brisket was perfectly tender and the burnt ends sang. Sides were good. So happy. In a good place.

The BBQ was delicious. My wife and I shared the big kahuna and we couldn't finish all of it. Very generous portions, and the owner was a super cool, down to earth guy. Definitely worth the trip from wherever you're staying on the island

They will lock you in when you're eating with no exit and you have to drive off road onto the grass 50ft to get out. The young man selling fruit can vouche I was locked in yesterday and there was a lock on a chain wrapped around the gate. The nice young man instructed me to drive onto the grass.

Dug in and forgot to take pictures! The owner was patient and kind, answered questions and was knowledgeable about bbq. Our family typically eats a good amount of protein, and this food truck was the perfect place for us to get what we needed! We ordered 1 lb brisket and 1 lb ribs. Meat was tender, fall off the bone of the ribs and super flavorful. We loved the sauce; great balance of flavors- not to syrupy, sweet, but not too vinegary and runny.
Highly recommend if you need your proteins while on the island!

Just ordered the chicken and pulled pork bbq from this place. The person working asked what type of sauce that we wanted. Instead of putting the sauce in containers on the side, he drenched all of the food in the bbq sauce. Two people in our group have tomato allergies and can't eat bbq sauce. We asked the man if he could remake our food with the sauce on the side and he flat out refused. Bad service considering he didn't even tell us that the food would be drenched in sauce. He flat out refused to do anything for us. One star for service. There are plenty of other places on the island that make better barbecue with better service.
Also, just to be clear based on what the owner said below, every other bbq place we’ve been to on the island offers sauce on the side, or at least asked us if we wanted it on our food before dousing it. You just told us after the fact that it comes that way and that you wouldn’t do anything to fix it. Also there are plenty of bbq sauces that aren’t tomato-based. Your lack of customer service, and disregard of a customer’s allergies in your response below is why we wrote this review. You won’t have to worry about our business again in the future. -mahalo
