Honestly not a great choice for our dinner. The guacamole was very bland and the bowl presentation and taste was not great. The carne asada was a bit over cooked. The area smelled like urine. It is cheap, compared to other restaurants but you get what you pay for.

Nice take out joint. If you into spicy food, their hot sauce is amazing. Luckily the owner was present when we visited and he made sure we got the hot sauce we needed.
The cashier girl wasnt very friendly and seemed annoyed with life in general.

Had the ahi burrito. It tasted good. However, it went right through me. So, unsure whether it was the food that upset my stomach or something I ate before. The food my wife ate upset her stomach, as well.

Guy was rude when taking my order and the food was horrible. They give the impression of clueless gringos making their own version of mexican food. It's ok, but I wouldn't say it stands out as being good mexican food. A lot of people on Kauai say this is a good place for mexican food. It's not! Makes me question there judgment lol. They're overpriced with angry help. Well, every place in Poipu is overpriced lol. I'd say, save your money and taste buds for something more worthwhile unless you're really craving a big ah mid burrito.

The staff is very nice and the food came quickly. We ordered 3 burrito bowls, beef tacos and one burrito. The rice was bland and watery, the chicken was super watery, kinda like it sat in a crock pot with a little seasoning and water. This made it difficult take it to go and perhaps was the reason the rice was also wet? 3 out of the 5 of us like spicy but even with ordering it with spice, it still lacked flavor. We couldn’t get over the texture. It was just very mediocre, and we felt it was our worst meal in Kauai. The 2400 reviews putting it at a 4.5 rating was confusing, but I wouldn’t personally recommend it.
Takeout window. Ordered chicken quesadilla, guacamole and shrimp tacos with Mexican rice. Generous amount of chicken and cheese in the quesadilla. Good guac. Shrimp tacos were great. Found the place on the last day of our stay. Wish we had found it earlier.

We noticed they had beyond meat on the specials menu but it seems to be available regularly. As a vegan the options in and around Poipu can be limited. Da crack changed the game. We came here a handful of times in the few days we were visiting. Loved the beyond burrito, beans especially were cooked perfectly. Miss this spot already!

10/10 for Da Crack. One of our favorite spots to eat at when we come to the island. Don’t be threatened if you see a long line, it goes fast and the eats are worth it. Perfectly portioned with tons of meat, rice, etc. no bite is without the whole flavor. Not to mention great customer service.
