Don't miss this stop on Kauai. If you are looking for good food at a great price, this is the one! I wish there were more options like this on Kauai. The manapuas, shumai and gyoza were outstanding. The dim sum pack was delicious.

We enjoyed the goyza very much. It was cooked perfectly and full of meat. Nothing wimpy about this meal. I also enjoyed the dumplings. They weren't at all gummy like some dumplings can be. The spring roll was delicious. We were very happy with our meal.

Absolutely amazing! The food was so fresh, the shrimp and egg rolls were super crunchy and the bun was super soft and delicious. I would highly recommend, perfect amount of food, the entire dim sum pack was $12.50, honestly an amazing deal for the quality.

Yoshi is amazing. He catered my family and friends of 50 people and not only did he not disappoint, he blew everyone away with the quality of taste, freshness and not to mention incredible hospitable service. Only thing I wish I had done differently was order more pork belly bao!!! We had poke, kenji burgers, ginger fried chicken, coconut shrimp, short ribs, chicken katsu and more. This is my fifth time eating from Yoshi and Dim n Den Sum and definitely won’t be the last time. Top recommendation for anyone visiting the island and well worth the drive from the north shore.

We got the special and everything was amazing for a fair price. Great sushi. The coconut shrimp were good. The fried rice was delicious. My husband enjoyed the salad greens and the egg rolls. The bao were huge and delicious. I cannot recommend it enough!

Dim 'N' Den Sum catered our private post-wedding thank you beach event and they were amazing, start to finish. The food was exceptional: fresh, beautifully presented, and, most importantly, delicious! Our guests said it was the best poke they'd had on the island (and by this time, our guests had had at least two other kinds at our other previous events). My brother-in-law, a poke aficionado, got poke every single day of his eight-day stay and he said Dim 'N' Dem Sum was the best. He also said the poke on the island compared to mainland is far superior. They were very professional, responsive, and flexible during the initial stages when we were getting quotes. We reached out to MANY MANY food trucks and poke places to try to get catering, and communication with most was unfortunately unprofessional, disorganized, or non-existent. Dim 'N' Dem Sum offered exactly what we wanted. We wanted our guests to be able to have an authentic Hawaiian Food Truck experience and they came through 100%. Until Dim 'N' Dem Sum, it seemed like maybe we could get people to deliver giant platters of poke, OR, simply prepare it and we'd have to transport it and present it ourselves. Those who could deliver pretty much could not offer staffing to serve. And maybe a couple others who could potentially offer the food truck experience said they'd be open to the public as well and/or the cost would have been exorbitant. Dim 'N' Dem Sum customized a simple menu to be what we envisioned but better (poke and musubi with choice of Hawaiian macaroni salad side), they helped with the permit process, and when we were unable to schedule a dessert vendor (due to permit limitations), they suggested another Hawaiian sweet treat, did the research and communication on their own and effectively helped me out by removing that as another worry and task on my already overflowing bride plate, and provided those for us even though it wasn't something they usually offer. Before they left, they made sure we were satisfied, helped tidy up, and left us with extra food that hadn't been eaten. When I had a moment to really connect with them, they offered some tips about local beaches and eateries and I really appreciated that. Yoshi and Lynell with Dim 'N' Dem Sum are among the top vendors we worked with and that's due to their responsiveness, professionalism, service, pleasantness and kindness. Thank you, Dim 'N' Dem Sum for being an awesome part of our wedding!! (Due to being busy and preoccupied with our guests, we didn't get many pics, which I now regret, but that's the nature of getting married I guess).

Vegetarian options: I tentatively asked if they could provide 3 vegetarian dishes, one for myself and one for a friend and one more for another family-member who sometimes is pescatarian and sometimes vegetarian. With very little notice (the catering menu had already been decided and accepted), they happily provided those and I and my friend LOVED that we got a tofu poke bowl. It was so good. I usually can't eat entire portions, but I ate my entire bowl bc it was so yummy! I also appreciated that it was the same poke bowl experience as everyone else and not, for example, a side salad, which is what I am used to having to resort to as my option.

Kid-friendliness: My super-picky son and his friends and other friends' kids ALL loved the spam musubi!! That was a picky crowd of 17 kids and their parents and everyone was happy.

I pulled into the food truck village in Koloa and immediately smelled something delicious. Upon following the smell I was at Dim ‘N’ Den Sum (such a great name). I ordered the Dim Sum pack (2 pieces Shumai, 1 Manapua, 2 fried Coconut Shrimp, 2 Gyoza, side of fried rice—add egg roll for $2—and it was a perfect sample platter of most of the menu items. The gyoza were fried but not too oily, the Manapua had great flavor and the coconut shrimp with sweet chili sauce left me wanting more. The spam fried rice was delicious and the Shumai was paired with a wasabi aioli that I didn’t know I needed in my life until now. Will definitely be back again.

Excellent food with reasonable prices. Staff friendly, help a locals food truck. Quick and fast. Really good eats. 3 of us for lunch. The dim sum platter was delicious, the coconut shrimp better than any restaurant. Shumai was juicy and filling. Chinese Hawaiian flavors.

So so good. I might go back for dinner. Big grassy area for the kids to run around, appropriate portions for price, and just so delish. Worth it. Make the drive from where ever you are on Kauai..you won't be disappointed.
