We visited the Hono Bar three times as we stayed in the area for 12 days. We did not stay at the Marriott, but we were welcomed there every night. We watched the sunsets there, had some drinks and dinner one of the nights. We sat at the bar and we're entertained by some friendly bartenders, and excellent drinks (Mai Tai was awesome). We got hit with a short rain shower and they just dropped a couple curtains to keep us dry. Great fun!

We stumbled across this bar while checking out the area and the beach. It was exactly what we were looking for. They had live music and great drinks. Plus the view was amazing as we watched surfers and turtles all afternoon.

Great place! Had a couple mai tais, which were strong and delicious. Also had a side of fries...I'm not young and those were among the BEST fries I've had in my life! Ima gonna organize a trip just to have more of those darn fries! The service and view were also awesome.

John was such an amazing bartender that we actively tried to catch all his shifts. No matter what kind of drink you order, John made it. I did order from some other bartenders a few times but John was the most knowledgeable about drinks! Plus the Ceaser salad with Maui Maui is to DIE for! GO! Ask for John & tell him Asia sent you!!!! ☺️

Service can be quite slow on weekend nights but we had no problem during the week. Food is mostly good with one exception...the macadamia nut crusted mahi mahi was so flavorless that I couldn't stomach more than 2 bites. As one of the more expensive things on the menu, they needed to try harder...or really at all. No salt, no pepper, lemon burre blanc tasted like milky water...just atrocious.
