We had lunch here. Initially thought their brunch buffet lasted late however ended around 11am so we had lunch items. Server Steve was very nice and personable. Great to walk around property.
Went for Christmas holiday buffet and thought that the selection would be amazing, hot fresh food options. No the prime rib cold and a lot of the options were mediocre or low. The area we sat the floor was dirty food on the floor. The ambiance and experience for Christmas was not anything special for the amount of money paid per person.
This is a buffet and Ala carte restaurant in the Grand Hyatt. They have lots of options, but the food is not good. Lovely view. Nice atmosphere. But I would eat elsewhere.
The food was absolutely disgusting, and the service was terrible. We had a reservation, yet we had to wait an excruciating 35 minutes to be seated.
My wife and I went there for the Christmas Day Buffet 2025. Food was ok to good. For the price, not so much. Service was excellent. Ambiance was great as well.
Lady at the restaurant check in was nice. The others assisting her seemed a little stressed. Waited 20 minutes to be seated even though I had set reservation. Otherwise it was comfortable and relaxing.
Christmas Brunch Excellent food quality and presentation. Everything was fresh and displayed well. Absolutely worth every penny.
Great place to eat, only complaint we have is they do not make it clear that they do not offer the lunch buffet any more and we had only half an hour to get our food before they remove the the items and start serving Lunch. Staff went out of their way to help out with helping us get our plates.
They were running behind by 30 minutes at time of check in. This is a 5 star resort so I would expect there would be a beverage or something offered while waiting. Due to the delay onsite music had just ended by time we were seated. No overhead music even though it was a special holiday event. Omelette station also down by the time we made it through the line. Many deserts were also out by the time we made it to that table. Setting is beautiful next to the ocean.
Great Thanksgiving buffet experience. Would highly recommend and make sure you have a reservation!

We absolutely loved the Thanksgiving buffet. The selection was extensive, the service was excellent, and the food was exceptional, especially the prime rib and the chai panna cotta.
The Grand Hyatt's holiday buffet at the Ilima Terrace restaurant is consistently outstanding- their Thanksgiving Buffet included. Fantastic selection from their exhaustive salad bar to sushi & sashimi, excellent carving station, numerous other entree offerings and desserts, all in a beautiful setting.
Went for Thanksgiving brunch. The waiter was quick, attentive, and pleasant. However, the hostesses were not. My husband asked them how to say “hello” in Filipino. The heavy set hostess at the computer said “Amoy” and the other two hostesses laughed. I found out that “Amoy” means it “smells”. Then the same large hostess told us we were late. The other hostesses laughed again. Interestingly enough, it was 12 noon. Our reservation was for 12:30. Not sure why friendliness towards the hostesses ended in this manner. But it has been consistent the last few years. They can't possibly think the customers paying high prices are stupid and easy targets. These 3 hostesses were dealing with 2 lawyers, one of whom is a retired judge, who didn't appreciate their unprofessional, low rent antics! The food quality has gone down. The pre-opened Alaskan crab legs were filled with ice. The prime rib and turkey were over salted. The chocolate pudding was bitter. The best things were fresh papaya slices, fresh pineapple slices, and berries. Even the drinks were lacking- the orange juice was not fresh, the watermelon was out of season, and hot water carafe was crusty, stained, and rusty around the gasket opening.
Thanksgiving Brunch here was well done! They had King Crab. And sushi! And of course turkey and all the usual, but if you need a break from that, there were so many other eclectic options.
