Poipu Rock n' Roll Sushi

This restaurant actually has been renamed and rebranded. It's a Thai food restaurant as well. It's called the Thai bistro. We had an amazing meal. Listen to great music, and had a very reasonably priced beer. I think that the price of the poke bowl was well deserved because we got huge portions and it was delicious!

The place is ratchet - we got a couple of drinks at the bar and watched a server argue with a guy in the back and heard her complaining about working there the rest of the time. And then we saw a customer bring her food up and say it was cold and the server that took it barely acknowledged the situation with the food. Really glad we only had drinks and didn’t order food

Great service. Immediately greeted and seated. I had the Loveboat special, my wife had the Poke bowl and my daughter had Pad Thai with tofu. All were very delicious. Sushi was very fresh with great flavor. My wife and daughter both loved theirs as well.

We ate there due to convenience, and we weren’t disappointed. Our waitress was great. We ordered the jalapeño poppers. They were crunchy and had great flavor. We also ordered a poke bowl and the lobster specialty roll. They were so fresh and delicious. So much flavor. Definitely would go back again!!

Hailey was our server and she was outstanding. It was the best service we've had on vacation. It was casual but it was a great way for me to get my sushi fix while getting my kids sliders and fries. My husband enjoyed the pad Thai as well. We went for a Saturday lunch and got right in. Sushi was tasty. Only dinged the atmosphere a bit but overall good choice for our fam.

There was a little band playing while I was eating. The music was amazing!

Mediocre

Aloha from michigan! Ordered the love boat special and spicy ahi jalapeño deep fry roll and everything was delicious. The gentleman helped me order everything too which was good customer service and our sale felt personal.

Nasty sticky tables, waitresses are worthless, could not split a bill correct after multiple try’s, sushi was warm and funky smelling. Very dirty and dingy. Recommend the health department come do an inspection!!! 1/10 do not eat here

The food was good but wow the performers were unreal. We chatted with them for a good minute and they were so fun and talented. This place needs to keep bringing in falling down romance to perform. What a treat!

I love this place! The drunken noodles and all the curries are so delicious. Alayna was a fantastic server. Great spot to stop while you’re shopping or taking a break from the beach.

We had a party of 5 and ordered an assortment of sushi and the Kauai Curry (pineapple). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and the service. One of the members of the party turned evil and whispered to our server that it was my birthday. Our server very discretely brought a piece of pineapple cheesecake over with a candle in it. I really appreciated that, and everyone agreed that it tasted great. Despite our server's discretion, the party led a raucous chorus of the happy birthday song, which the restaurant graciously tolerated. 10/10 experience.

This place is advertised as being open until midnight. They are open until 9pm and do not care that their website says midnight. To me, this is an indictment of their establishment
