We had a party of 5 and ordered an assortment of sushi and the Kauai Curry (pineapple). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and the service. One of the members of the party turned evil and whispered to our server that it was my birthday. Our server very discretely brought a piece of pineapple cheesecake over with a candle in it. Adorable outside atmosphere. Went with my 3 kiddos, they played just outside the restaurant while I enjoyed kicking back with a delicious drink. Servers were amazing and even went the extra mile for me when I asked for a further shopping recommendations. The only negative feedback I have was that the Jameson I had was WAY watered down.
This isn't a five-star restaurant but if you want something casual and tasty this is quite nice. Set your expectations appropriately. Have been here three times and happy with the food, though the sushi prices are double of the East coast. I chalk it up to Hawaii inflation.
