JoJo made our dinner at Red Salt exceptional! She was attentive, personable, and extremely knowledgeable about both the menu and the island. It was clear she genuinely cared about our experience. I highly recommend requesting JoJo when you visit—she will make your evening unforgettable!

My wife and I ordered the same thing. She loved her meal. I thought it was bland, tasteless, too oily, with undercooked vegetables.
Hard to really assess the restaurant given our opposing opinions. (We are usually in agreement)

It is very loud here making conversation difficult. The food is good but be prepared for the prices. You even have to pay if you want bread

We went here for my wife's birthday at the end of our vacation. The place was amazing, very modern and romantic. The service was also amazing, couldn't have asked for a better waitress. I got the burger/lobster and my wife got the lobster gnocchi. They were both very very good! The place was definitely expensive but we knew what we were getting into.
I would definitely recommend going here!

It was way too loud to enjoy the meal. Perhaps sound reduction features could be added. Our server and the suushi were excellent!
We had a very pleasant dinner, the food was delicious, and customer care outstanding. Our server was Allen, he was very knowledgeable and took wonderful care of us. We ordered house made ricotta with honey and naan bread, and for main course I had monchong and my husband had mahi mahi, both were great. We shared Hawaiian bread pudding for dessert, please don’t skip it it’s so amazing!
The whole experience was delightful😊

Everything from the food to the atmosphere was excellent. My husband ordered the Wagyu and it was the most tender he has ever had. I enjoyed the mouth watering mahi mahi. Ashley, our server, was extremely kind! We visit Kauai every other year and will definitely be back to Red Salt!
Red Salt restaurant is inside the Marriot Resort. Make reservations.

My wife and I travel to Kauai every October for the past 25 years and this year Red Salt was our best dinner
Best scallops by far! Already had them at two other places and these were the best. Quiet intimate setting. Great service!

Food was amazing, and I don't mind smaller portions, but both the foie gras was extremely small approximately a tablespoon! However, it was wonderful! Sushi was great and loved that I could get a Frank Family Chardonnay by the glass!! The flourless chocolate cake was also perfect, but was definitely on the smaller side. The decor was nice, however it was very noisy, we eventually adjusted and simply spoke louder to each other 😊
Extremely disappointing experience from the top down. Started the evening by parking the car and then a valet running over to tell me there is a mandatory valet so I get out of my spot and drive the car 20 feet over and he takes the car and parks it back in the same spot. I did miss a sign that said mandatory valet so that’s on me but somewhat frustrating and want people to know that it is mandatory. After going inside the hostess asks about any dietary restrictions and I let her know that we don’t eat shellfish. Once the waitress comes over 10 minutes later she starts recommending me a dish with shellfish in it. Frustrating that you would Ask me about what I cannot have (which I appreciate) and then not communicate any of that information. I understand maybe things don’t get communicated but when I am paying premium prices at a restaurant things like that are things that I somewhat expect to be done. The drinks and appetizers were good and I would recommend only those. The short rib and the ribeye were both extremely disappointing and I have had better for less on the island. I simply cannot recommend this to anyone. If you want to be a premium restaurant and charge like one you need to be able to do certain things right. And red salt failed to do service or food well enough to justify its price point.
