What a wonderful atmosphere and the food was delicious as were the cocktails! Couldn't have asked for a better dinner for our daughters last night on our vacation.

The service was very slow. The waitress did not ask us if we wanted more drinks in a timely matter, in fact so late it was pointless. The portions are very small. Great setting and food tasted good.

Overall good. Service was pretty subpar for the price (server did not ask my wife or I if we wanted anything else to drink when both our drinks were empty, and the whole meal was less than an hour because we weren't being checked on and did not feel very welcomed) The restaurant ambiance and food were good. Pricey but on par for the rest of the restaurants around. Probably won't go again on my next stay though.

We look forward to dining at Stevensons Library every time we come to Kauai. The food, like the service, is exemplary and you cannot beat the ambiance. Always the best meal of our trip.

Wait staff was so helpful in informing us of selections. Food was amazing. Only complaint is the poor quality of the tonic water served for my gin and tonic.

Really enjoyed the ambiance. Food was fresh and tasty but not the best best sushi I've ever had, especially for the price. Wine was good but also marked up from market cost significantly. Restaurant was busy and wait staff was busy as well but accommodating and helpful with recommendations, took good care of us for a honeymoon dinner.

We have been to this restaurant on several occasions, and have always enjoyed it. Our experience this time was less so. The food was excellent, but they were already out of 7+ items by the time we were seated...at 7:35 for a 7:15 reservation. The service was indifferent. The bar was “backed up”, so drinks took a long time to arrive. We were quizzed as to whether we were staying “in house” at the Hyatt...we were not, and I suspect that service levels were tied to this. The restaurant is expensive, and in the past the overall value for the price has been good. This time, not so much. Not sure if we will return on our next visit to Kauai.

We have had sushi there many times over the years.it will ruin you for sushi elsewhere, the rolls are large and very creative with fresh fish that will melt in your mouth. We love Lisa, she is great, we normally ask for Britney, she knows our likes, very personable. She is fun to watch as she interacts with people differently. Can't wait to go back

It's such a shame. The restaurant is just spectacular looking! But the sushi is a major let-down... we won't be back- we would have paid those prices happily had the food been good.

We were given this as a recomendation and I suppose it's decent, however having had excellent sushi in Los Angeles we may have become too picky. The sushi itself was good, though the chefs special carpaccio was just ok, sliced too thickly and not enough for the price. The servers were well intentioned but lacked polish for this type of higher end dining. While I appreciated my water never emptying, let it get down to at least half full, it became intrusive. The ambiance also really didn't fit a sushi place, all dark wood, it felt like it should fit an old school steak house. I wouldn't dine there again, sorry folks.
