French Restaurants in Kula, HI

“My husband and I stopped here after watching the sunrise at HaleakalĀ. It is the cutest little spot. The pastry shop and coffees as open early and dining/breakfast start at 10am. We were early so we got some yummy quiche, the best berry mango scone I’ve ever had and some hot cocoa and lattes. I’m unsure why there are bad reviews for hours or service. The barista we spoke to was lovely, we had a great conversation and a couple of the customers that were local waiting behind us also were so kind. Interactions are dependent on one’s own attitude and willingness to be open/friendly, and not solely the responsibility of the server/waitstaff. I’d ignore the negative reviews and definitely pop in for morning coffee and pastries or to dine in after 10am.“
