The food was excellent, the service was even better! A true small town atmosphere. We ordered the meatballs and bread from the appetizer menu and it was still too much food for two of us. Definitely recommend this place.
Do yourself a favor and take the scenic drive UpCountry to the Kula Bistro. They have the best lunch by far we've had on Maui! Our server Benny was fantastic and really sincerely cared about taking care of us. My husband walked across the street and bought a bottle of wine. The restaurant encourages this and they do not charge a corkage fee (they even supplied an ice bucket for our white wine without being asked!) Great food and services. We dropped by for lunch before heading to the Alpaca farm & Haleakala summit. There's a small grocery store across the street. I really enjoyed the lightly panko crusted mahi mahi with Molokai sweet purple potatoes. The potato was a bit too sweet so I couldn't finish it. Otherwise everything was delicious and expensive.
