Amazing as always!! We try to reserve in advance of arriving on Maui to make sure that we can eat at Star Noodle at least once during our stay. Every dish that we ordered was awesome! Wemade reservations for another night before leaving the restaurant. Wow!!!

We have enjoyed dining at Star Noodle in the past, which made this Lunchtime visit particularly disappointing. The food was underwhelming, but more concerning was the service. The two servers (one male and one female) we had were noticeably unfriendly and unhelpful, and their demeanor suggested that serving our table was an inconvenience. Hospitality is a central part of the dining experience, and this fell well short of what we have previously experienced at Star Noodle. We hope this was an isolated incident, as the restaurant has typically maintained a much higher standard. People have a choice and after this experience, I would say, try another places. If you're unhappy with your job, quit!

Have been customers since original location. The new location is spacious lanai with view of ocean . Food is excellent. Staff will guide you through questions you have about the menu and make recommendations. Dim Sum brunch was enjoyable.

We had an excellent evening there. Of course, we have been to Star Noodle at least a dozen times in the past. The pork buns are scrumptious. And the ramen possesses incredible fullness in the broth as well as a potpourri of flavors with the contents of the ramen. Always a 5-star meal. Star Noodle never fails to come through!!!

I liked our time at Star Noodle. The food was good, up to expectations. The place is nice and the waitress was good. My main issue is that this was our anniversary dinner. I made the reservation two months out. I noted to the restaurant it was our anniversary dinner. Yet they seated us in the corner by the entry. There were other tables available. If there weren't I'd understand but this lack of consideration was disappointing. They did say happy anniversary upon arrival, so they knew, but that was all we got. It's the little things that make a good dinner a great dinner.

Hot and sour and look moore fun were delicious. Pork steam buns are so soft and tasty. But Udon noodles with pork is nothing special and meat is too fatty (which is standard at every restaurant for this entrees).

A couple of things that should be part of your order would be the green beans and the tempura shrimp. This place is very popular, so you need to make reservations way ahead of time. Allow extra time to get there because parking can be a challenge.
Bartenders lacking on accommodations matter of fact could use a little more people skills, but I noticed that with the server staff across Maui take a trip to Cabo San Lucas are most places in Mexico and see what true customer service is like  whatever happened to the aloha spirit

As soon we ordered the food, it came out so fast, we couldn't help but wonder if some of it was premade. The pork buns, which was one of our favorite dishes, was such a big disappointment. The garlic noodles seemed like it was made in a batch and kept warm. The braised beef was ok but not great. The green beans were fairly good. The price was still very reasonable, so that's still a positive. Sad to say that we probably will not go back, nor recommend this place.

Went first time to weekend dim sum brunch and was absolutely happy with the selection. As one of our go to spots in Lahaina, the quality service and ambiance is among the best on island. This gave us a chance to experience something and it was up to the high standards we expect. Bravo
