This restaurant sadly burned down in the Lahaina fires. It was a terrific restaurant for Kama’aina and tourists alike. I just spoke to the owner who had family trying to escape the fires by driving thru traffic cones to escape the fires on front street. They lost one family home and another was burned.

This is a cute local place for a Hawaiian breakfast. The coconut pancakes and omelets were good. It is cash only with quick service

The food and service were good but the wait can be very long and unpredictable. The establishment has about 10 tables depending on party size ahead of you. They use a sign up sheet outside the front door. If there are a number of large parties ahead of you the wait can be extreme. We were a party of 2 and waited an hour and 20 minutes. Their menu has many options to satisfy almost anyone and once you’re seated food prep was surprisingly fast.

Make sure you don't come in a rush. The food is perfection. I would say between this spot and Sunrise Cafe, you get the authentic Hawaiian food experience. ? It's a popular restaurant run by a family. We got Sweet and Salty Loco Moco (with burger patty and spam) and the Kalua Pork Hash Loco Moco. Also got chocolate milk, that was delicious ?There was a line when we were there, you just had to sign your name into the waiting list out by the door. Friendly service. ☺️

Food: 4.5/5Service: 5/5Ambiance: 3/5Overall: One of the best places to eat breakfast on the island in my opinion.Would I come back: A resounding YES. It's one of my favorite spots in Maui. The extended review...Food:Pancakes with Macnilla sauce - 5/5 - Now this is how pancakes should be done. The sauce is soooooo yum. Sugary but that's how I like it. I believe it's likely vanilla pudding with Mac nuts in it.Loco Moco- 4/5 - A very yummy Loco Moco they got here. Can't say no to this favorite local dish.Service: 4/5 - Very friendly service. Called in my order and the server was super nice.Ambiance: 3/5 - Although I didn't eat indoors it is a bit dark inside.

One of my favorite breakfast joints in Maui.Must get: the macadamia nut pancakes with extra Mac nilla sauce. If you love poached eggs: the Benedict trio is a gooey hot mess & that's how I like it.Always crowded so get there early.

A little cafe with I'm guessing recipes passed down and perfected. Absolutely delicious and would recommend coming hungry! The hot sauce selection is vast, recommend the HI Spice sauces.

The worst experienced we had today. We waited for more than 1 hour , Sign in at 1010am and left hungry at 1140am. We were 20 mins ahead of the 1st table and the other table 45mins.ahead, yet they were served first than us. How can you forget a party of 5. My kids were starving. My husband confronted and the guy was very defensive but we appreciate our server lady was nice and she apologized amd acknowledged that they forgot our orders. We went there because I wanna feature as a local guide you guys ube pancakes and foods but We are so disappointed of you guys service today. My advice ,you guys need to follow up your orders.

I recommend this place, but please note there can be long wait times. The place is nice, and the food is delicious. But the service is slow like 1 hour to bring 3 pancakes, 2 eggs, and 3 sausage links?. It was like less 10 people inside.

This is an awesome little diner! You can tell by the line waiting outside it’s going to be great and we were not disappointed. Be prepared to wait 30-60 minutes. Really nice staff and delicious food!We got the Mowie Wowie omelette with fried potatoes. Got to try some macadamia nut pancakes too and both were delicious!

Arrived around 9:30 and waited for about 45 minutes to be sat which we knew before going in after reading other reviews. Not a huge problem and the food and service makes it worth it. The owner of the restaurant was so friendly even refilled our coffee cups. Definitely has a home feel and the food was amazing. We had the Benedict and the macadamia nut pancakes. If you have the time, I would recommend you go visit!

Good food, not worth the 2 hour wait. We hung in there because we had already committed lol. while we were seated we noticed that there would be several empty tables for a significant amount of time and still a long line of people outside waiting to be seated (just an observation). Food was very homey and it was good but nothing special. Just being honest :)

Really great food - they were short staffed the day we were there, so the wait was unusually long for the number of customers there - otherwise I would haven given a 5. Large menu, kind service and really great tasting food!

The wait is as long as advertised. Got there around 730 AM on a Saturday, got seated around 8:15, and the food came out around 8:45. Would recommend ordering as soon as you sit! The food was good, but not sure if I'd come back and wait next time. We got the loco mocos with different meats and shared the red velvet pancakes. The price was very reasonable.
