Decent vegan food restaurant. Not many Jain options but they can customize a couple of dishes but without the sauces. Pro tip: Jain options can be customized upon request at least a day in advance.

We have a few dietary restrictions that make it challenging to find food that suits our preferences. As vegetarians who also don't consume onions or garlic, it can be difficult to find a suitable meal. However, Maria and the staff were able to accommodate us, and we had a wonderful experience. We came here every day, and they would make different sauces that meet our dietary restrictions. We tried the burrito, noodles, tostadas, açaí, muffins, and cookies, all of which were delicious and tailored to our dietary needs. The staff was very friendly, and the service was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food and accommodating service, especially for those with dietary restrictions.

Excellent vegan restaurant. Lots of different options that are delicious and unique. All vegans visiting should check it out, and nonvegans will love it too because it is fantastic!

At a vegan spot, the açai bowls were tasty. However, when asked if I wanted almond or peanut butter on my açai bowl, I assumed it was included, only to discover later that it incurred an extra fee. The lack of upfront disclosure by the waitress was unprofessional. While I'm willing to pay for extras, I prefer transparency in pricing. The $10 vegan brownie was delicious but pricey. Additionally, no prices were listed on fridge items. Our bill totaled $65 for 2 açai bowls, a muffin ($4), and a brownie

We stumbled upon this treasure while on Vacation in Maui and ended up coming here everyday. The vegan options are varied, beautifully presented, healthy and absolutely delicious! Service is friendly and prices are fair. Large portions too, yet leave me feeling energized. Will come back here every day until we leave.

Such good food! Huge portions! All vegan! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming! We always snorkel at Kapalua Bay (the best spot) and A'a Roots is the perfect place to come to for lunch after. There's refreshing açaí bowls, smoothies and large food portions like salads and wraps and bowls and toasts. The locally made tempeh is so good, would recommend adding it if you're looking for more protein on a salad or something. You can sit inside or outside, there's a water cooler to fill your bottle.I'm the only vegan in my family and everyone was happy here. Get the passionfruit raw cheesecake, my sister (who's a baker) cleaned the plate and we bought two to go.Vegetarian options: Menu is all vegan!Dietary restrictions: Menu is all vegan!Parking: Large parking lot for the complex

What a gem. Grabbed some food, and ate of the beach. My soba noodles were very ample and satisfying- and visually appealing. Wife grabbed scrambled tofu - she was equally impressed. Great, friendly staff.

Daily specials are the best! Server recommended them. He was kind, helpful, friendly, and happy. Food was fresh and so full of flavor. Their presentations of each dish is enticing. Everything is vegan. We bought a blueberry muffin for later. There were other dessert choices as well. Service was timely.

I had the opportunity to volunteer with Maui Cultural Lands the Saturday I was in Maui, and after volunteering clearing invasive plant species from a discovered archeological site (the purpose of the program), I was obviously quite hungry! Aa Roots was not too far north from where I was, so I came here for lunch. In addition to the Vegan Ceasar Salad, I "splurged" by getting some local kombucha (with a unique flavor profile at that, as it contained blue spirulina!). The staff seemed very friendly and I the seating area was very cozy. For one person, lunch was pricey but standard for the island. If I lived here, this would probabaly be my go-to spot!

My family fought over the s'mores cookie like piranhas, it was so delicious with a soft, almost mochi-like centre. The acai bowls are gorgeous too.
