This dinner experience was awful in all ways. Slow service. Served appetizers with no napkins and silverware. Asked for it and waiter disappeared so we got up to get it ourselves. Meals served with appetizer plates left on table. Food was inedible. Rib meat was fatty and not quality and pounded to 1/4 inch thick. Fried chicken was in bits like you get at Panda Express (theirs is better actually), fried rice was not edible and tasteless. There is a Luau next door that is very loud and competes with the music coming out of the speaker. We asked the waiter to turn down their music and he said the Luau would be over shortly so we had to listen to both their music and the Luau our entire meal. Plenty of other choices on Maui. Dont be fooled that it is next to Mala and Honu whose food is excellent. Not even in the same realm. Don’t bother.
Our party of 4 was seated promptly and service was quick. Unfortunately, our entrees were not great. Two of us ordered the swordfish, and it was bland and lukewarm. My wife ordered the famous mixed plate, which also included the swordfish, and it was very undercooked. We told our waiter, who then took the plate and said, "we can't have our guests unhappy". A replacement plate was provided with a fully cooked piece that seemed ok. The other entree was a salad that was fine, and the sides were good. Our drinks had no detectable alcohol in them and our server seemed distracted. All in all, the quality of the meal was below our past experience and we won't be going there again, despite the great location and ocean view.
Gorgeous ocean views and the best selection of local dishes and cocktails makes this a must stop on any Lahaina trip.
The plates we were served were cold. I imagine the food is made well in advance and is sitting there for a long time. I would avoid this place and go somewhere else. Sorry I really like to give Kudos but not here
Came here for lunch and it was great! The staff was amazing and the mixed plate was delicious!

We had a wonderful meal and both ordered the Mixed Plate. The chicken, beef, and especially the fish were cooked perfectly. Our server—“Rodney? Merry Christmas” (as he jokingly introduced himself since his birthday is on Christmas)—was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back.
If you’re looking for delicious food at reasonable prices and a more casual atmosphere, I highly recommend this spot over the pricier restaurants at Whalers Village. It’s a small place, so reservations are helpful.
P.S. Mr. Christmas — my apologies if I got your first name wrong! :)

We are big fans of Aloha Mixed Plate & come every time we are on Maui. I always get the Kalbi Rib plate. My daughter got the aloha mixed plate which Included teriyaki rib eye, shoyu chicken & fish of the day. All excellent. The only drawback is the parking lot is small, but there is a large parking lot by the mall across the street
Always a nice meal with great views! Menu is traditional mix plate done right. Great value for Maui.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The cocktails were tasty and our kids loved their virgin drinks. The poke was super fresh.

Aloha Mixed Plate in Lahaina is a true local favorite for a reason. Tucked right along the shoreline, this spot gives you those breezy ocean views and that relaxed Maui vibe the second you sit down. It’s the kind of place that feels connected to the history and culture of the island while still keeping everything super welcoming and laid back.
I ordered their signature Aloha Mixed Plate and it was loaded with classic local flavors: tender shoyu chicken, savory teriyaki beef and all the plate lunch comfort you want when youre on Maui. It’s simple, delicious and exactly what you come here.
Between the food, the views and the friendly service, this is one of those must-visit stops during your trip to Maui. Whether you’re grabbing lunch after exploring Lahaina or looking for a chill dinner by the water, Aloha Mixed Plate always delivers. Definitely add it to your list!

The food is just not good. My dinner arrived cold. Such a beautiful location should have great food to match.
