Best shaved ice on the island! Very kind, even to tourists!
Oh MY GOSH. This is the BEST shaved ice in all of Hawaii… and I’m not kidding because we went to 8 places on 2 different islands and I still dream about it. SO SMOOTH and melts in your mouth. Their workers are also so nice and there are fun board games to play while you eat! 10/10!!!
Excellent food allergy protocols. They took care of my kid with a milk allergy. They even changed the block of ice. Thank you!
Fantastic. Ice is so soft it melts in your mouth. The flavors are fantastic—my favorite is strawberry. Good bang for your buck. Staff is also so kind!
Not impressed with shaved ice, was not what expected, service was good, but quality was poor, reminded me of a snow cone, will not be back
This place is no joke. We tried to get some on Sunday and the line was about 30 deep. Came back today earlier and it was by far the best shaved ice I have ever had. We will definitely try a few more times before we leave the Westin Nanae. Worth the wait or the drop by if you aren’t staying here. Friendly staff as well. Try it. You won’t regret it. I promise. !!!

Best experience here with Trinity and Julia, two amazing and kind women who even offered to make me a new shave ice when my clumsy self dropped it all just as I was sitting down! They are amazing! And the views are amazing, plus their selection of natural flavors is wonderful. Highly highly recommend!

We were looking for shave ice in Maui. We found Big Wave Shave Ice Company and found it in Westin Nanea Ocean Villas. We had to ask the staff what flavours to chose, there are so many. We decided two flavours: lychee and guava and 1 scoop of Haupia Roselani ice cream, a local ice cream. It was was beautiful and hot day and it was perfect to relax and enjoy the treat. We also decided to stay at Westin Nanea Ocean Villas next time we return to Maui.
