Best experience here with Trinity and Julia, two amazing and kind women who even offered to make me a new shave ice when my clumsy self dropped it all just as I was sitting down! They are amazing! And the views are amazing, plus their selection of natural flavors is wonderful. Highly highly recommend!

Best shave ice on this side of the island! Loved the natural flavors and soft ice. It didn't melt fast and make soupy ice cream at the bottom. Highly recommended!

We were looking for shave ice in Maui. We found Big Wave Shave Ice Company and found it in Westin Nanea Ocean Villas. We had to ask the staff what flavours to chose, there are so many. We decided two flavours: lychee and guava and 1 scoop of Haupia Roselani ice cream, a local ice cream. It was was beautiful and hot day and it was perfect to relax and enjoy the treat. We also decided to stay at Westin Nanea Ocean Villas next time we return to Maui.

The ice is soft and the flavors are bursting with refreshing deliciousness. We tried several and all of them were a hit. I recommend adding the macadamia nut ice cream and snow cap.

As if the delicious treats weren't enough to bring you over, the staff here are unbelievably friendly. We had a good allergy concern and they quickly helped us find out what was in the flavoring. They made great suggestions and chatted with us as we waited.

Again, this should be on your list. There can be lines during busier times and it's not hard to understand why.

The employees were some of the kindest we encountered on the island. If there’s a line I can promise you it’s worthy the wait. There is something truly spectacular about the texture of their shave ice. Mahalo for the excellent service and kindness!

Such good shaved ice! It's a hidden little spot inside the Westin Villas. The ladies serving up pack a good shaved ice. The ice is so finely cut like freshly fallen snow and the flavors are amazing! I had strawberry, banana, and blue vanilla and splurged for the condensed milk snow cap (which is a total game changer if you’ve never tried it before). Definitely try this place!!

Told these nice ladies my son has a nut allergy. They stop production and wipe all the equipment down. That, ladies and gentlemen, is awesome service. Also make great shave ice

This shave ice is the best, and the service is super friendly. The strawberry, snow cap, and haupia ice cream is a great combination.
