Delicious food at Captain Jack's. Burritos, tacos, plate lunch and great appetizers. The coconut shrimp is a must try in my opinion ?

First of all, awesome location! The second story overlooks the main drag (Front St) so you get a really nice panoramic view. The portions are enormous and the food is good quality. Our chicken sandwich and burger were great, and the wedge fries were a highlight. If you’re in Lahaina, “haul yer booty” to Captain Jack’s! ?

There’s a variety of food from burgers, sandwiches, pastas and drinks with a great view during sunset right across from the oldest banyan tree. Our server was really friendly even during busy dinner hour, the atmosphere was nice.

6/2023: Food was great, but the service was awesome. The service made the experience wonderful. Atmosphere was perfect for an island. The kid’s meals were enjoyed by the kids (big plus). The wrap and the fish tacos were flavorful and perfectly cooked. Great place to eat.

Recommended to us by the guys at @TheSnorkelStore and we were not disappointed! Great food - I had a chicken burrito and my daughter had fish tacos - and excellent, friendly wait staff! Open air seating with a view of Front Street and the ocean beyond. Highly recommend!

We took a day trip to the west side from our home on the south side for lunch. At Costco you can get $100 dollar gift card for $80.Captain Jacks has a great location across the street and upstairs from the banyan tree.It was our first time visiting and we went for lunch. After looking at the menu we both decided on food from the lower portion of the menu. We didn’t know that was the dinner portion of the menu and not served for lunch. Not a big deal just worth noting if you are going for lunch dinner items are not available. We had the ceviche appetizer which was very good. We also had the fish and chips and the loco moco. The fish and chips were very good. I like that you can order a 2 or 3 piece and 2 was perfect to not feel over stuffed. The loco moco was good. The gravy was a little unusual. They also make a very good lava flow which can make for a perfect dessert. The home made hot sauce is excellent.

Stopped here for lunch. But we could even order from the dinner menu, so choice was great! Meals are of decent size, not too small, not to big. Everything we ordered, was properly cooked, and delicious. Staff was very friendly. Because the bar is above some shops, you have a nice lookout over the main street and park.

We were on a booze cruze around Lahaina and came here for happy hour. Drinks were heavy but so were the fry cooks on the wings. They had to have left these wings in for 30 mins so they were crisp, dry, and well toasted. It helps being kinda faded on Mai Tai’s but idk if I would actually eat here again. Fortunately the deck has great views for people watching so that’s a plus.

Great spot. Fish was really good. On the ocean but we sat at the bar. Very friendly staff. Very clean and live music. Fun place

We stopped in just before five so the dinner menu was not available yet. So we ordered the ladder of ribs for myself and my wife ordered the First Mate a fish sandwich. The meal came quick and we had good service. They both had fries and we had a good meal. Couldn’t finish all my ribs had one left.

We were supposed to go to the Old Lahaina Luau, but it was rained out. We were already in Lahaina, so we decided we could shop and grab dinner in the rain! Most places were booked already and we were starving, so when we stopped at Captain Jack’s and they had seats, we jumped at it. Captain Jacks is in a great location, right on Front Street. It’s open air on the second floor, so the views are lovely (even in the rain). The service was absolutely terrible—he was rude and inattentive, but the food and drinks were decent. I really enjoyed the pulled pork sliders and the lava flow drink. My friend loved her fish tacos.

Lots of mixed reviews about the service and food, but for OUR visit it was very good. Our server was very attentive and we had no problems. We wanted to sit along the outer permiter so we could watch the people up and down Front Street, and that was worth a 10 minute wait at lunch hour. The food selection is good, the drink specials were a little pricey but not at all weak. Like anywhere you go, experiences can vary - but we really enjoyed our visit and frankly I would try it again!

Great place for a meal. Came to Lahaina for shopping and saw the fun vibe here and decided to climb upstairs to try it out. We weren’t disappointed. Fish and chips were great, large Ono fish breaded just right. Also had fist tacos which were great. Only tough thing was the music. Heavy metal which isn’t all bad but maybe more at night. #captainiacks

Quaint first floor bar and restaurant with a pirate theme. Good to have a selection of superb local beers alongside the megablands. Food looked nice and we would have eaten but did not feel that welcome. Staff were working hard but we saw no-one smiling which put a bit of a dampener on the visit.
