We had a great time at the Luau. We had purchased the VIP package for our family of five and had an assigned table in the front row. Things to know for those attending- the line to check in started early. We showed up at 5:15pm and there was probably 100 people in line already. Definitely more like a dinner theater. If you're looking for the pig roasting on a beach, this isn't for you.
It does have good food and performance, and the staff were very friendly and responsive, but for the price point, it just didn't deliver. Felt like an aggressively cost-optimized experience.

My husband and I had chosen to enjoy Drums of the Pacific Luau as part of our resort credit we had while staying at the Hyatt Regency Maui. This show was PHENOMENAL. The dancers, band, hostess all obviously enjoy what they do. We were very impressed by the show aspect but the food was also super delicious and we felt we had a balanced plate of Hawaiian cuisine. I will remember our night vividly for a long time and every person putting on that show deserves recognition. Thank you...
