Probably my favorite meal on Maui to date. The staff here was super friendly and went out of their way to ensure i had a great meal. Get the garlic shrimp!

respecting the memory of Lahaina is important. this restaurant chooses business over community
So good! We had the Bloody Mary and Boa Monday specials for lunch (1 duck, 1 puffed shrimp) and then came back for dinner later too try the scallion pancakes, kurobuta pork dumplings, and Dan Dan noodles. Not quite authentic Chinese, but very delicious nonetheless!

INCREDIBLE! Hands down the best meal we had on the island. The menu is unique and the portions are HUGE. The staff are so friendly and I could tell they really wanted to work there and be sure we had a nice time. We went on a Monday - the Bloody Mary was on special and it was 30% off for sitting at the bar!! I cannot believe the quality of the food and drinks and they offer 30% off. The bartender was very friendly and made us some amazing drinks. The KAI vodka drinks were some of my favorite. The bao buns were stuffed full and made fresh to order. I also purchased a really cool hat and sticker and a mug. The merchandise is on point and made for a great souvenir! We were there on Monday August 7, 2023 - about 5 hours later the fires swept through Lahaina - I sure hope Duckine is able to make it through this tragedy so more people can experience this incredible restaurant.

Food was decent. Service was not so good. Came in for dinner on a Friday night. Expected a better experience and I left disappointed.

Our waitress name was Kiersten good luck if you get her she’s a piece of work. Happy hour was 8-10 we sat outside asked her about happy hour app she said they were only at the bar no issue. We still order an appetizer anyway. The table sat next to us asked the same thing and she said “oh I asked the manager and he said we can do that for you guys.” Got our food never checked in on us had to ask for condiments. The manager and the rest of the staff was wonderful. The atmosphere of the restaurant as a whole is so nice and relaxing and have a variety of cocktails to try on the menu.

Came here when it first opened. Was not impressed with the food. The chop salad came as a whole head of lettuce that we had to chop up ourselves. Our waitress didn't know how to pour beer either. Had to tell her to leave me to the task. Just bland flavor but also could have been because they just opened (Was expecting outstanding flavor). Hard to compete with Fu Lin (The previous restaurant). The atmosphere is great especially during dinner time. Will definitely adjust my review once I eat here again.

These people are truly CLUELESS and have no idea what they are doing. Service and restaurant as a whole were a complete and utter disaster. A true comedy of errors with zero recovery attempt. I even went up to the manager, Tyler(awful mgmt.), and told him how awful it was going with the hope that HE// they would try to make it right. With a group of 11 people and over a twelve hundred bill with ONE quarter of the restaurant full you would think they would want to try to recover and make things right. The food was solid, nothing over the top. The numerous rounds of drinks we ordered are decent, again, nothing life changing. The tea for two was the standout! BUT, the service was horrific. They need to get the kinks out and or take a lesson in service or get new managment. Trays of cocktails dropping all over people, every other cocktail coming out wrong, waiting forever for everyone to have a round just so we could cheers one another. Several rounds of food coming prior to drinks. I could go on and on. At the end of the day we were all happy to be together but it was a complete mess and they did NOTHING!!!!! Beyond embarrassing and tacky. Needless to say we won’t be coming back nor recommending it to the numerous service industry people we know and tourists visiting alike. Which is such a shame. Thanks but NO thanks. Don’t worry, this place won’t last long.
Follow up to your response, which is inaccurate and shameful. When a tray of 8 plus drinks falls all over someone and glass and liquid drench people and the table, you go
OUT of your way to, A. profusely apologize, B. offer to “rectify” with a gesture or C. at the very least pick up the pieces with service attempts and get drinks and food back on track(which is all we wanted). None of which happened. It was cringe worthy to watch them run around frantically yet doing nothing at all. Meanwhile people are covered in alcohol and wet. Barricading the bathroom? You mean washing off all the booze and glass from our shoes? Shame on you and your incompetent staff and leadership style. The rudeness came from your staff and YOU not getting it or the situation. It NEVER got back on track. Can’t you take accountability? As a manager of a new struggling barely 1/2 full restaurant want to know when someone comes up to you during a service failure to give you the decency to tell you to your face so you can “TRY” to course correct and turn it around vs never coming back and saying nothing? Clearly, you’re not cut out for the job. Accidents and mistakes happen, we get it but YOU and YOUR staff made us feel like we did something wrong because you spilled on us and couldn’t figure out how to pick up the pieces. GET IT TOGETHER. Such a joke. If I were the owner I’d get Tyler out of there for one and new severs who care at the very least! Good luck and stay away if you’re a large party or celebrating anything! They can’t handle it!

Pressed duck bao, pork dumplings, & dang dang noodles were all excellent.. The duck which was the main course unfortunately was not good.. The meat was tough and chewy. We actually joked that it was probably rooster that we were served.. The atmosphere is excellent and our service was top notch but none of us cared for the duck unfortunately..

great service and atmosphere, but the food we ordered was not the best, we got the roast duck, duck baos and ube noodles - roast duck was pretty solid, duck baos were over cooked and mushy (felt like i was eating yam), and the ube noodles were quite bad to be honest. the noodles had no texture, was doughy and soft, and the soup was bland. our server was very nice and allowed us to return it to the kitchen. Drinks were pretty good and the list of cocktails they had looked delicious. Overall I think this place has a nice concept but food could use some improvement.
